This weekend I am headed down to the outlet mall to get new shoes.
I have three pairs of shoes I wear to work. All of them are stretched out because I have had them since I was fatter. Now I am down a shoe size, and some have broken straps, one pair has holes in the sole and my feet get wet, etc. Anyway, I need new ones.
I'd like to get something a little less grandma and a little more stylish. I do not do heels well since I am tall and my balance isn't great. They would need to be short heels, and sturdy, and comfortable. I am in love with these. Do they pass the TIP shoe test?

I think they're ok, but I really like the last one that Muddled posted.
But take my advice with a grain of salt, I guess, cus I'm kind of in the midst of a desire to buy crazy fun shoes thanks to the "independence" shoe gift I got from my bff a couple of weeks ago.
The Sam Maddens don't have a ton of arch support, although I love them. I think I have 3 or 4 pairs of that shoe in different colors. Like I said- plain and boring. BUUUT classic and goes with everything. lol.

I usually wear Mary Jane-style flats in various colors/styles or sleek, stacked-heel loafers to work, since more traditional pumps don't suit most of my work wardrobe.
