OOoh yay. I'd be looking in the fall (October/November) probably around the 9-11 day total mark, including flights. Of course you could extend it. One of the companies I love booking with is Gate 1 Travel - they are "guided tours" but SUPER loose - you have a ton of free time and they are really affordable.
I am about 60-70% sure I could do it....it all depends on whether my march 2014 Antarctica trip will happen....if it does I gotta save all my money for it...if not I could totally swing a October 2013 trip!
I think about this all the time - I see great travel deals pop in my email or whatever and I wish I had a go-to travel partner. Not many of my friends are either a) into traveling mroe than like weekend trips or b) in a situation to do much of it (kids, money, job, whatever).
I would totally go on a group tour if an SO one was going down, or even just with you mp. I know I'm not too well-known here yet. But if you're going in the fall, you have lots of time to ensure that I'm a real, normal person. And Lissa has met me IRL, she can vouch!

International travel was one of my resolutions. Why I am a poor?! Maybe I'll get an awesome job with paid vacation already and I'll be able to go! *fingers crossed*
I would LOVE to see Cape Town. And starryfish, I know someone who did that Antartica trip and she said it was amazeballs. She babysat me when I was a baby, so she must have been in her 80s when she did it. After her H passed she resolved to see the world. She'd fit in nicely here.
I'll be in Mexico sipping on fruity drinks in the fall, but I'd be interested in one after that.
