If you click on someone's Facebook profile, just to see what the public part says, does it automatically suggest you to that person as a potential friend? I know people suspect that it does, but does anyone KNOW? I want to know if this is safe to do with anyone, or whether it's only safe to do with friends of friends who will probably get you as a suggestion either way.

I don't know, but I ascribe no rhyme or reason to FB's friend suggestions, and neither should anyone else. If someone wants to believe you're a weirdy weirdo based on real or imagined FB algorithms, best just to let them IMO.

Listen, kuus. If you just want to be FB friends with me you can just say so. No need to do this creepy "oh, I'm gonna look at your profile but can you see me?" type stuff.
I was wondering how facebook kept putting LHC & MelindaFelinda in my suggested friends even though we have zero mutual friends in common. Now I guess I know, ya creepers.
