My attempt at bacon green chile infused vodka (I threw a little garlic in there for good measure).
One thing I am not sure about is how I should store it while it is "brewing" and for how long. I have looked at a bunch of different recipes, some say to keep it in the fridge, some just in a cool dark place. Some say for 5 days, some a week, some 3 weeks.
That sounds good! Usually when making infused alcohols it ranges between 5 days to 2 weeks in a cool dark place. The longer you let it sit, the better it is.

I didn't have a jar big enough, so I put it in that glass container. I did worry a little bit about all of that exposed surface area, do you think that will matter?
