I posted over there, but judging from the existing posts, it looks like I might be waiting forever for a response.
I suppose this could be H&F related, especially if you have some healthy suggestions...
So, as I said over there, I recently bought some frozen salmon patties as an impulse buy, and now I don't know how to work with them. I thought salmon burgers, but I don't know what to top them with or how to "sauce" them....I'm thinking ketchup and mustard aren't going to work as well as they do with traditional beef burgers. Any ideas??
Maybe not on a patty, but I love the Barbeque Salmon from where I work. It is a salmon filet with barbeque sauce served with corn succotash and the flavors go great together.

You could stick with the standard lettuce and tomato, but replace the ketchup and mustard with mayonnaise or tartar sauce. But I would probably top it with coleslaw.

I second the Tzaitki. I'm also a fan of old bay and mustard. Hummus also works. I'm also a fan of breaking it up the patty over a sweet potato instead of eating it as a burger.

Good suggestions, ladies. I knew this board had it in 'em to rock in the kitchen... in fact, some of us are probably such good cooks that we made ourselves fat, and that's how we ended up here. =)

Did you by chance get the Trident salmon burgers from Costco? If so, I love those. I don't like ketchup or mustard on my salmon. Our regular toppings are little mayo mixed with some cholula hot sauce, caramelized onions, slaw, tomatoes, and/or lettuce.

We LOVE these. The closest Costco is ~45 minutes away so it's not worth it to us to have a membership, but whenever the ILs are visiting we make a trip and use their card to stock up on those salmon burgers Trader Joe's has a decent substitute.
