I made another post about a week or so ago about my cycles being off. I o'd late last month and this month I had a positive opk on day 10. If I was looking back I would be O'ing this week if it was going to be like last month. I have started to notice a little bit of cm and cramping. Can you get a false positive opk?

You can gear up to ovulate then not, then gear up again later. Temping helps you see whether you did ovulate (will see a temp rise), or if your body geared up then didn't (so no temp rise).

I'm not sure about the false positives. I do know that you can get a positive opk and not actually O. That's happen to me a couple times where I got a positive opk but no temperature shift and therefore did not ovulate. It's also possible to get several positive opks at different times in your cycle and only one of them be the actual O.

I wasn't temping this month. I hadn't started yet when I got the positive opk, but I am still using them to see if I get another positive again this month. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for this. I just got another positive opk today. Im glad I kept testing.
