1. Cycle 4, CD 26. I got a temp spike today so hopefully this means that I am O'ing. We will see in a few days.
2. I am so excited to be home for a few months skipping this cycle has made me sad. It will be funny if I get pregnant in April then our baby will have the same birth month as me, 1 aunt, 1 uncle and the babies only cousin on my side. (We are all January babies.)
3. I plan on continuing to work at least part time. I would quit one of my jobs and keep the one that I love. It is my dream career with my dream company, there is no way I would give that up.
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? Cycle 4, CD28 I think. Waiting for AF to show up tomorrow. I keep getting BFN
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related?
3. QOTW/QTKY- Another CBH- After you have a baby will you stay at home? Or go back to work? Back to work. I'm gonna try and work only 4 days but I for sure won't be a SAHM. I love working and we can't afford for me not to.

How many DPO are you?
(I don't test when I'm late until I am really late, seeing a BFN is worse then getting AF.)
Congratulations to cville, gibbylod, ilikedonuts! (And anyone else I forgot)
It's that time of the week again.

1. Second cycle after mmc, 8 DPO. Not TTC this cycle, but may have messed up the timing and caught the beginning of the fertile window....waiting a few more days to test.
2. 2ww sucks, even when you're not trying!
3. I will have to go back to work, but H might stay home

1. Where are you in your TTC journey? Cycle 5 CD5 boo!
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? I try to look at the positives in each cycle after an unsuccessful cycle so here's cycle #4 edition. I ovulated two cycles in a row! And I wasn't pregnant for my life insurance exam today which saves me money!!
3. QOTW/QTKY- Another CBH- After you have a baby will you stay at home? Or go back to work? I will go back to work. I know I would be an awful SAHM and I really enjoy working and my career a lot! Plus I'd hate to waste all the time and money it took earning all my degrees.

1. Cycle 7, CD 14. 2. I've been having a rough month and especially a hard night yesterday, but I got some wonderful support from ML last night and from H so I'm feeling better today. 3. I honestly don't know the answer to this question. When we started TTC the plan was always that I would leave my job at the end of this school year (because I wanted to anyway) and take about a year off to be at home before starting something new. Now that I'm still not pregnant, I can't justify just staying home so I have to look for a new job not knowing if/when I'm going to have to make the decision to keep it or leave it. I still would love to be able to spend the first year at home, but I can only do that if it's between jobs. I hate that eventually I feel like my only two choices are going to be destroying my resume or giving up on that dream of taking the time at home. I don't know. It sucks.

According to FF I'm 15 dpo. But I got a trigger shot on the 6th so I'm 14 days past that. Last time I got a trigger AF showed up the 15th day past. So tomorrow is the real day. My temp is still high which gives me hope. But I agree, BFN are way worse than AF. Esp spending money on the damn tests!

1. Cycle 9, CD 22, 6 or 7 DPO
2. Even though the odds of this happening w/o medical intervention at this point, I'm still finding myself analyzing my spotting and avoiding Advil. It's going to be another sad day when I get my period...
3. I'm torn. I know I'll end up feeling isolated and depressed if I stay home, but if I could get past that I'd be an awesome SAHM. On the other hand, I don't know that I want to give up the working part of my life/identity. I'll go back to work initially, at least.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

1. First official cycle TTC. CD21 2.This is my third cycle off BC and I'm not sure what to expect as it hasn't regulated yet. I thought I had Oed but then my temp dipped again so maybe not? My first cycle off was 44 days and this chart is looking similar to that one. This is only the first cycle and I am already obseesed with everything! 3. I will go back to work. I also think SAH sounds good in theory but I don't think I could do it. Plus I like my job!

1. cycle 3, CD 15, 4 DPO
2. I'm having pretty persistent pains in my sides and other issues. It's pretty awful. Trying not to let doctor google freak me out about what's going on.
3. I'll take ~12 weeks off (I'm accruing leave, no mat' leave). There's a piece of me that might want to try part time, but no one else does this in the office. I'm the breadwinner too, so we'd take quite a hit if I cut back.

1. Cycle 4 could be 10 dpo, but not sure if I O'd then or if I am going to this week. 2. I wish I understood my cycle more, I feel stupid for not. 3.I will go back to work, but only 3/4 days a week.
1) Cycle 7, CD 14 ::fistbumps Cori:: ... still barely anything on the OPKs, so I'm glad I didn't waste my time with a CD12 u/s 2) Still deciding my next step in terms of what doctor to see and when. I need to just pick something and make an appointment. 3) I will definitely go back. Maybe part time, but probably full time. I love my job at least 65% of the time.
ETA: My lack of doing anything about this was bothering me (can't complain if you don't make an effort, right?), so I have an appointment next Fri afternoon with my PCP. Weeeee'll see what happens.
Congratulations to cville, gibbylod, ilikedonuts! (And anyone else I forgot)
It's that time of the week again.
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? TTA/CD2
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? J and I keep seeing babies on commercials and we always look at each other and smile. It's nice knowing he's just as invested in making baby #2 as I am, and though I am freaked out about having another ectopic pg/m/c, I know the journey is worth it because of the beautiful, fun, sweet girl we have already. I just can't wait to see who our new addition will be!
3. QOTW/QTKY- Another CBH- After you have a baby will you stay at home? Or go back to work? We'll have to evaluate finances for sure (we're going to buy a house this year), but if we stick with our current nanny, I think I'll be going back to work.
(I'm starting to have trouble with the QOTW, if you have an ideas message me. )
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? Cycle 6, CD 8. After tracking my cycle for five cycles now and identifying a LPD and having an early miscarriage in the last cycle, I am going to have a consultation with my OB next week. I am hopeful with a little extra assistance, my LP can be extended and give me a better shot for implantation.
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? Just relating to 1 above a little more, I am oddly more hopeful because I know I can get pregnant. Hopefully that means we can rule out issues, such as something going on with DH. Keeping fingers crossed this next cycle is the one! I have also decided I don't mind charting and would feel comfortable using this as a BC method in the future.
3. QOTW/QTKY- Another CBH- After you have a baby will you stay at home? Or go back to work? Back to work.

1. Cycle 10, CD7
2. Fertile week is starting, FX for good timing this month and no more wonky-ness.
3. Not sure what I will do- likely work at home part time, since family lives too far away to babysit and my jobs don't pay enough to justify full-time daycare.
1. Cycle 2, CD 12 (BFN yesterday) 2. Short version: I charted and used OPKs to have more clarity, but instead I feel more confused (Long version: I got what appeared to be a positive OPK on CD 21 and tried to confirm it with a CBE OPK, which was negative. If I enter the positive OPK, I get an O date of CD 23. If I don't enter a positive OPK on that day on my chart, it shows me Oing a different day. I didn't get any positive OPK on that day. ARGH.) 3. I will work FT. I carry our benefits and I have the higher salary. Fortunately, I really enjoy working, but I do wish I had the option to go PT.
1. Cycle 3 CD 2. :-( 2. I POAS yesterday out of wishful thinking and my period showed up while I was sleeping. I think I'm going to be a neurotic pee-er. 3. I will def go back to work FT. I'm already researching daycare options so I can get in a waiting list during my first trimester. I do have career goals I want to accomplish before SAH. Fortunately, my job does allow for a lot of flexibility. I work 3 12s, so I'm already off 4 days a week. I work weekends when my H is off. And right now, I work nights when H is home, decreasing the amount of time a baby has to be in daycare.
1. Cycle 3, CD 4 2. I have dinner tonight with my bosses and clients. Which means a late night of drinking which will mess with my temp tomorrow. Not that it will matter since I am so early in the cycle, but I was trying to be really good about getting consistent temps this month! Also, I will miss my workout because of dinner. I much prefer to eat Panera Bread in my hotel room ALONE. 3. I will go back to work. I really enjoy my job (uh, well besides my complaint above?) and my salary/benefits are the bulk of our household income. My husband will be the primary parent (best description I can come up with) since I travel. We have discussed him being a SAHD if that works best for our family.
2. Nothing too cray-cray. A little disappointed that my OPKs are always negative. I seem to be in a temp drop and expect it will spike soon. The cheap OPKs I bought say to use FMU so I am confused. :/ yesterday I tested twice to be sure but still neg. I guess I may not be Oing yet since I just stopped BC like 40 days ago.
3. Back to work. I think in theory SAH sounds nice, but then I would feel weird about not having my own income and well... Identity. And going back to work eventually would be difficult in accounting/tax I think. I am hoping I will be allowed to work 4 tens or a day or two from home but it is unlikely as my company historically does not allow it. My boss however, is really easygoing about schedules.
I think the wondfo OPKs said MFU, but TCOYF said the body usually *doesn't* produce LH overnight or first thing in the morning. I just started using OPKs 2-3 times a day. I usually only get one or two positives. This last time, I got a close to positive the night before O and a solid positive after the temp spike. I think I just have like a lightning fast cycle.
ETA: forgot "doesn't" - hope it was understood from my phrasing.
Hello! I'm new to this board. We've been TTC since October 2012. I've been lurking on this board and have found a lot of useful information. Figure I'd introduce myself with some Ute info.
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? CD 25, 10 DPO and so tempted to take an early test. I'm holding out for a few more days.
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? My husband took the initiative to start taking vitamins and even drinking EmergenC to help out his swimmers. I thought it was sweet. He doesn't talk about it much but little things like that really show me that he is really ready to be a father.
3. QOTW/QTKY- Another CBH- After you have a baby will you stay at home? Or go back to work? Stay at home.
1. We won't start TTC for another nine months or so. 2. H wants to start TTC now. We don't feel ready financially yet, but he is seriously hoping for an oops baby. And he's not being quiet about it. It's hilarious and awful at the same time, because he's so adorable about it that I kind of want to toss out my BCP sometimes. 3. We're waiting because I want to stay home, rather than go back to work.
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? Cycle 1, CD 35, 15 dpo. I'm three days late
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? I can't bring myself to take a pregnancy test. We started TTC this month and I was convinced it would be difficult for me to get pregnant because of a few factors. I'm an over planner and don't feel nearly ready to be pregnant.
3. QOTW/QTKY- Another CBH- After you have a baby will you stay at home? Or go back to work? I'm a doctoral student with (hopefully) two years left. I'll continue adjuncting a class or two a semester part-time while in school and will hopefully get a full-time professor job when I graduate.
