I managed a workout this morning, it feels good but I know I will be sore later.
I shaved my legs because I have a doctor's appointment later and it's a new doctor.
And we were told we're going to have to find 3rd grade level books and workbooks for DD to do at home because that's the level she needs to be challenged. She's my little smartypants, we gotta keep it going.
This week has flown for me but my H is sick as a dog so it's been a rough week. He doesn't handle being sick well. It also means that neither one of us is sleeping well. I've been sleeping on the couch because he's flopping like a fish and coughing. I am tired and hoping I don't come down with whatever he has.
I can't post in my wedding thread below (attack of the server bear), but thanks for the suggestions everybody! I'm going to be incorporating pages from the books into the guest book. It's the one DIY project I feel comfortable doing. You can't fuck up rubber cement.
My entire family is sick. I've had the flu since Wednesday night, DD is coming down with something (haven't decided if she is getting the flu or a cold), and H has had a terrible chest cold since last weekend. We are all miserable. I hear my niece and nephew are sick, my dad is sick, and both my inlaws are sick. Go away, winter.

DS was straight up possessed by the devil this morning. Everything was a fight and I left my travel coffee mug at the office when I left yesterday and I was running late, so no coffee on the way to the office.
This week in general has been difficult. I've been stuck in a funk that I can't seem to shake. But I'm getting my hair cut after work today, so maybe that will help.

Do you want them to sign their names or leave messages? I made this really awesome scrapbook/guestbook for our wedding that I wanted people to leave messages on. I even wrote a description in the beginning for them to write any advice, comments, etc. in it where ever they felt like it. Most people just signed their name on the last page (and maybe only 5 people actually signed it), I was a little disappointed.

I had a really hard time getting out of bed this morning, which is unusual for me. I'm usually very alert in the mornings, so I'm guessing it's a sign that I'm exhausted.

H is home for a second day with a migraine. I am irrationally annoyed by this. I think it's due in part to the fact that despite the migraine, he's spending most of his time online playing video games. And then he tried to ask me to call into work for him because his phone was in the other room. Dude, I am at work. You are an adult. Go get your phone and call in your damn self.
I'm annoyed by everything today though. Every time my phone rings I want to reach through and slap the person on the other end.
This day cannot end soon enough. I will stop bitching now.
"Migraine" + video games = I think he is playing hooky. I get migraines, and believe me the last thing I want to do is look at a computer or TV screen.
I had the best time at work this morning. Dressed up like king kong for a big international program I helped to organize. There were about 130 Japanese middle school girls and they were a mixture of fascinated and terrified. lol!
It was probably the most fun I've ever had at my job...which makes me realize I miss working with people. Currently I stare at a computer and do a lot of emailing. I miss interaction and hands-on work. Glad I'm going back to HR.

Ditto malibu, I can't even look at any bright lights when I have a horrible headache.

I was thinking the same. Dude just had Tuesday and Wednesday off, too. He doesn't get PTO so playing hooky is an annoying thing for him to do.

I plan to just have them sign their names, but in a creative way. I want soooo bad to share my idea but I don't want anybody ripping it off. I know most GBCNers are married, but who knows who lurks.
That sounds really paranoid. Does this tinfoil make my ears look big?
