Swim cap that actually keeps your hair dry?

Like actually dry. Does this exist? Am I just using it wrong? I'm willing to accept that a little hair around the edge of the cap may get wet, but I feel like my hair is always wet (though not soaking) after swimming. FTR- I have a speedo silicone cap.

And I LOVE my new vanquisher goggles. You guys were right, they are the best.

Swim caps are meant to keep your hair dry. They are meant to keep hair out of your face. So the answer is no. No there aren't any caps out there that will keep your hair dry. You are in a pool, you get wet.

I swam a lot in college and was able to buy a smaller cut swimcap that kept my hair dry. I think it was more of a youth size and it was super tight to wear. Not uncomfortable though, I have a small head. The very edges would get a little wet in the back, but overall my hair came out dry and ready to style again. Maybe try that? I think it was a Nike. But that was a long time ago...

I've swam for over 20 years, & sadly I've never left the pool with dry hair. I think you could strike it rich with that invention though! As joenali mentioned, a swim cap's purpose is to keep your hair out of your face, unfortunately not to keep it dry. I've worn caps that are too small, & have finished my workout with wet hair & a headache. But, it is possible that I didn't try a junior Nike.
