Looking for some ideas on skin routines and/or products to help hydrate my skin (on my body...my face seems to be okay). What do you use for soap/bodywash and lotion/oil? What do you think helps keep your skin hydrated well?
(I drink a TON of water, at least 120 oz a day, but I also live in CO where 10% humidity is a humid day. I feel like I put lotion on all.day.long and I'm wondering if there is a product I haven't considered.)
I use a sulfate free body wash (365 brand from WF) with a cotton wash cloth. Daily moisturizer is typically from Burt's Bees. I exfoliate weekly with a homemade mix of brown sugar and coconut oil, moisturized with coconut oil.
Right now I use a natural body soap that has palm oil and coconut oil. I exfoliate daily (but maybe I shouldn't?) with a natural body scrubber. Then before I dry off I use organic unrefined jojoba oil and then dry with a towel. Afterwards I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter. And I still feel like I have dry skin!!

I have dry skin. I use dove soap (the green one) in the shower... and those exfoliation gloves that you can get at the drugstore for like $5 or less. Those are key. Then I use St. Ives. I'm really picky about my lotion but I love everything about the St. Ives collagen moisturizer.
I rotate between body washes from WF that have lots of oils in them. Right now I'm using one by Hugo Naturals. I mix either argan or jojoba oil into my after-bath moisturizer during the winter. I also found the Very Emollient Maximum moisturizer by Alba Botanica to be effective at combating my super dry skin this past winter. It locks moisture in for 24 hours. If you can find it in unscented I'd recommend that. The main formula has a strong scent, not awful, but I'd prefer unscented.

I use an acne body wash (pHisoderm), which can be drying, along with an exfoliating hand scrubber also. Once a week I use the aromatherapy sugar scrub from Bath & Body Works. At the end of every shower I apply baby oil on my skin when I’m still wet & then pat dry. That helps A LOT. I use Mary Kay Targeted Action Toning Lotion twice a day to keep soft.
