I've been off BCP for a few months but still don't get a lot of CM (I'm not on any meds that would dry it up).
I drank strong green tea one day this cycle and got EWCM for the first time (~2 hours later). That was my only EWCM, and it came the 1-3 days before O (I'm not sure about O date).
Every cycle is different, this cycle not very much. But even when I don't have a lot I always have a "leaking" feeling around O. TMI but there is usually only a little bit on my undies after this.

Yup, mine is pretty obvious. I noticed it when I was younger too and sometimes wondered if I had something going on down there, infection wise- since I didn't understand what it was at the time.

When in your cycle did you drink it?

I read somewhere that drinking it at the wrong time is bad as well.
I guess it's what you mean by "noticeable CM." I have noticeable CM every day of my cycle. the question is whether it is sticky, creamy, watery, or EW. I am almost never dry. sometimes I have EWCM around O, sometimes it's just watery. watery still counts as fertile CM.
I read that you're supposed to drink green tea from CD1 until O to increase your CM, and stop after O.
I have lots of CM all through the cycle; whatever it's supposed to be for that point, I have lots of it. Like pp, I had lots when I was young and wondered what on earth it was about.
But every woman's different, so try Mucinex. Google for specifics on which formula to buy and when to take it. (In total and complete TMI, when I took it when we were first TTC bc I just decided to try everything all at once, it gave me so much it actually soaked my panties through and I needed to change through the day. I am one woman who doesn't need Mucinex! But yes, I can testify that it absolutely works!)
Also, my CM was less when first coming off BCP. As my cycles have regulated, there's been more/steadier patterns.

Drank it on CD 10. I have a short cycle, so I O around CD 11-13. FF thinks I Oed on CD 13. We'll see - it makes me nervous b/c that would give me a LP of only 10-11 days.
I have noticable ewcm around O. Some cycles I have to check for it, but I usually get a very damp feeling in general up there and know it's coming soon. I'm also going to try the green tea trick to see if I can get a bit more.

I actually bought Mucinex and keep forgetting to take it. I took it one day this cycle, I think too early, and then forgot to notice whether it made a difference. Apparently CM is where I draw the line on keeping track of everything.
Yes, enough of a change that I am able to go off of that now and haven't been temping in a long time because I never had EWCM without actual O while temping.

It's hard to say, since I was sick most of last cycle and was taking the good Sudafed, so I was really dry all over (my eyes were SO dry omg). I did have one instance of a teensy bit of EWCM, and it was right around O time. I don't really start checking CM until about CD12 or 13 anyway.
