And I'd pick something colorful for back too because again, I love color
Very pretty. It looks like peaceful, idyllic land- like a spot where you'd run up a hill to lay under a tree and watch the clouds pass or farm country in peak seasons if you were looking from a plane.
I'm not sure how big it is, I have to measure. But since I want to add trim, I'm not sure how big it will end up. I don't want to exceed the size of batting though.
At this point I'm sort of flying by the seat of my pants. I have made comforters before, but using queen size batting and the same size fabric. But none that required trim.
I think maybe I will do beige or brown for trim and then bright blue or bright green for the back?
I think the beige or brown will get lost in all the beige and brown on there. The blue seems sporadic (and I'm thinking the solid blue, not patterned). It gives it some pop.
Lay some of the color next to it, take a pic, then repeat for your color contenders. When you look at the pics, it'll likely give you a different perspective. I did that once with a major carpet purchase for our workplace and it really helped me rule a lot of them out easier than when I debated in person
