SHit. That blows. I'd lose it. It's a very hard thing to schedule.
I keep meaning to write you. You did 13 months w/ your first? Holy moly. I only lasted 11. So, now you're on #2 - are you EPing? or a combo? How is that working? how old is your first again? I'm having a lot of trepidation over how to make this work a 2nd time w/ an older kid now.
And I'm sure that's not helping your stress levels at all. I am positive you know it's ok to halt whenever it gets too hard, but I also know, it was nice to know that but nice to know people appreciated all the work it took to do it as well, and not pushing you to quit it. Does that make any sense? This prob should have been a separate post, but not sure how long I'll be on.

I'm doing a combo right now. Thankfully Em latched really well, so when I'm hope I nurse her. I pump 4 times a day during the week and 1-2 times on the weekends. I try to nurse her as much as possible when we are home. It's tough with the 3 yr old, but you get used to it. I just keep a lot of toys handy to keep her busy when I have to nurse.
And I appreciate the pep talk. It is hard work but surprisingly I'm loving it. Although my BFF already has plans to buy me a huge bottle of vodka on Em's 1st birthday. LOL
Yay! I'm excited for you that she latched. There's no non-awkward way to ask this, I have flat nipples, was that your issue round 1? I've heard some ppl get a latch second kid, and that would be music to my ears if that's the case. I'd love to hear some IRL success stories. I'm more worried about if I have to keep up the pump schedule. w/ C, I'd try to nurse her and then pump for the daytime ones b/c I had to do both if I was going to nurse.
And YAY for giant bottle of vodka. Mine would be gin. although my BFF was all earth-mother-goddess type that pregnancy was perfectly blissful and breastfeeding worked like a charm. I'll be honest, I don't think she really understands the struggle side of it. Or even that I had to have an induction scheduled b/c C was getting to distress point at 41 weeks. She does live across the country and is busy w/ her kids, so I probably didn't tell her enough either. I tended to only do my venting here online.
I'm thrilled for you taht you are loving that! Have things settled down for you guys, health wise, or are you all still getting bug after bug?
