What cake is best with chili?

I have recently learned that it's a "thing" in some regions to eat cinnamon rolls with chili. Who knew? But it's good. So not cake, exactly, but delicious.

No it's like orange juice and toothpaste -- kind of incompatible in your mouth.

If you want to off-set the spice I think the cornmeal, but you can go more citrusy. Or something like a lime pound cake?

Lemon cake would be ridiculously delicious, but I do just bake the cornmeal cake in a well greased 8 X 8 glass square dish. It turns out fine. But this thread has me seriously craving a citrus cake of some kind. Yum.
