I feel like all of my baby classes and play dates fall during questionable nap times. Andrew tends to go down somewhere between 10:30 and 11:00 for his first nap. The morning nap is somewhere between 1 and 1.5 hours. His afternoon nap varies, but I'd say, on average, it starts around 3:30-4. This nap is usually 1.5-2 hours.
It seems like everything for his age starts somewhere between 10:30-noon. I woke him up today at 11:20 to make it to his 11:45 gym class. He was great at class, but now I'm paying for it. I tried to push the nap earlier, and vaguely succeeded, but he probably would have slept another 45 minutes if I let him. I need these classes and play dates to keep my sanity, but they're ALWAYS scheduled for nap time. Is my kid a freak in his timing?
No I feel like the same thing happens for us too. Like you, I feel like getting out of the house and having her interact with other babies is important for us both so I try to make it work by either keeping her up a bit later or trying to get her to take her afternoon nap a bit earlier. But some days (like today) there is just no getting around it and nap schedule wins.

My LO napes between 3-4 hours after waking up. She wakes up between 6:30-8:30. So I guess they range between 9:30-12:30 start time and are 30 minutes to 90 minutes long. So I obviously have no schedule over here...

First nap around 930ish till 11ish
Second nap 2-330ish
Times vary, but you get the idea. Its somewhere around there. But then there was yesterday, my mom could only get him to nap for thirty minutes all day. So once i think we have a schedule, he says "screw you schedule!"
Y'all are killing me today with the sleep threads. I'm bowing out and will come back when we're back to talking about dried up vaginas, cute baby clothes, solid foods and why the hell musiclover won't get out of my snowy bushes and just come the fuck inside already.
I agree with you about the class times being at nap time for us. She usually naps from 10:30-12:30, give or take a half hour and 4-6. We go to two story hours right now. One is at 10:30 am and the other is 6:30pm. The 6;30 class always goes better for us. I want to sign her up for swim lessons and baby movement gym but they are both right at her first nap. I don't want to pay money for an activity that she's going to be miserable at so I'm not sure what to do.
First nap is from 8:30-9:30/10 (on a good day). 2nd nap is 1-2. Both my kids are early birds so took their first naps early as well. Classes at 10:30/11 were/are perfect.
Around 9:30 and 2. The first nap is usually an hour or so. The second nap is closer to 2 hours. A lot of activities around here clash with naptime. But, that will change when daylight savings hits and also when the babies drop to one nap.
It varies depending on when he wakes. He normally wakes between 8 and 10. Lately 830-9ish. Goes down for a nap around 1030-11 and naps an hour of two then takes his second nap around 3-330 for 30-45 minutes. There really isn't a great time for classes or play dates. I do wake him earlier on days I need him to nap earlier due to an appointment or something.

HAHA, you know you love it when I'm inside your snowy bush (kiss)
Oh, did I cross the line there? (huh) No? Ok, good
she is not on any sort of discernible schedule. She wakes up between 6 and 730 and naps some time in the morning (usually 10, 11 sometime around then but sometimes earlier, sometimes she won't nap at all)
In the afternoon she usually takes a nap which could be at about 2pm or 3pm, or maybe not at all in which case she'll fall asleep in the car on the way home.
The only way her naps "Schedule" could interfere with our weekend plans would be if she somehow happened to take a crib nap that was long. Pretty much never happens. I don't plan my day around potential naps as to be honest she's more likely to fall asleep in the car than anywhere else anyway and then she'll stay asleep a while. (still using infant seat and we have a snap n go)
around 9:30 - I usually wake her up from this one around 10:30-11 so that we can do something before DS is needing to go down. They both go down together then around 2 on a good day and sleep to 4ish. For the moms freaking out about missing activities - this time will pass and they will be on one nap pretty quickly. All my mom's club activities are at 10 or 11, so for this 6 months time frame of morning napping we just skip or come really late. I for sure am not paying for any activities though. I *really* look forward to the day that A is down to one nap and we have all morning available again. I'm going to start slowly pushing her morning nap back soon to try to facilitate this.
