Oh my gosh!!! YAYYY! Have you seen her pull up before or is this the first time? I'm impressed! Go Audrey!!!
She did for the first time last night but just on this 4" high ledge in her bedroom so I wasn't sure if it was a fluke. She just did it on the ledge again (see HDBD) and is now pulling up on her leapfrog table!!

Yay! So exciting! I love when they learn something new and then just start doing it all over the place!

She cried hysterically all through therapy yesterday, but I guess she absorbed some of the work. I wish I had her therapists email so I could send her the picture.
If you don't mind me asking, what types of things did you guys do in PT to encourage her to pull up?
It was more working on hip strengthening since her problem is more weak muscles. Lots of bending way forward while sitting and coming back up, having her lean over and put her weight on one arm while reaching for an object with the other, wheelbarrow where I hold her body up so weight is on her arms and she has to walk on her hands, I sit her between my legs and put an object on the other side of my leg so she has to kind of climb over my leg to get it.
Yay, Audrey! We lowered Madison's on Monday pre-emptively since I figured it's just a matter of time before she does this and I would rather not hear that 'thud'.

Good thinking! It happened so fast so it really could happen any day now for Madison.
