Well, apparently she didn't get her first tooth until she was 8 months. But, she fell on the tile floor and busted her lip a few months ago. She said her tooth kind of hurt, but it wasn't loose or turn gray or anything.
Wow. DD will be 6 in June (gah!), and hasn't lost anything yet. She did get her teeth kind of late though--and 5 in one week, so it'll be interesting to see if she loses them in rapid succession.

Our neighbor is a dentist, and she said the later they get them, the later they fall out. Another friend who is also a dentist said that's not quite true. So who knows, but what my neighbor said seems to make sense.

Interesting I have never heard thst before but it kind of makes sense. I have had kids in grade 3 who have lost lots of teeth and kids who have lost none.
