Hi ladies. Has anyone trird latisse? I have normal lashes but i've heard a couple girls swear by Latisse. I plan on doing some research, but wanted to hear from people who's opinion I trust.
I brush it on my brows and lashes every night before bed. I've been using it for almost 2 years now and I really love it.
$2? I may have to try that stuff once I run out of my Latisse.
The first time I used Latisse I thought I saw some significant growth but got lazy about putting it on. Then I ran out of those little brushes they give you to apply the stuff. Now that I bought a fine tipped eyeliner brush, I've been using it everyday for 4 weeks. I don't see a huge difference this time and I'm trying to remember how long it took to look like I had lashes. I also think that the mascara I was using made a huge difference. I was using Diorshow the last time around. This time I am using the Tarte Multipleye primer and then the Tarte Mascara.
Latisse is the only product that is FDA approved to grow lashes. For this reason, I won't apply any other product near my eye for lash growth. I did buy a bottle of Latisse, but only used it a few times because I knew I'd fall in love with it and then end up spending $120 or whatever a month on it.
I have friends who use it and it has done amazing things to their lashes.
Do any of you ladies have light colored eyes? The risk of iris discoloration is really the thing that's kept me from trying it out. I have really long lashes, but they're sparser than I would like (most fell out and didn't grow back after a round of antivirals during my run-in with shingles), but I'd rather deal with sparse lashes than with brown spots on my light greyish/blue-ish irises...
I've never tried Latisse because of the warning for light colored eyes (I know the risk is small, but I like my blue eyes too much to risk it). I have been using RapidLash for a few months and I can tell a difference. I'm sure it's not nearly as dramatic as Latisse though. RapidLash is basically a lash conditioner that you apply to the lash line and what I've noticed is that my lashes almost never fall out. My assumption is that this stuff allows your lashes to stay put and grow longer and therefore fuller. I went from short sparse lashes to normal lashes, so that's fine with me!

I don't know anywhere where Latisse costs $120 a month. It costs about $100 a bottle, and a bottle lasts at least 4 months.
And iris discoloration has ONLY happened to people who put the chemical DIRECTLY INTO THEIR EYES to treat glaucoma. There are ZERO documented cases of Latisse for lashes causing iris discoloration.
I used it and loved it! I have light blue eyes and didn't have any discoloration. I used one bottle last year and my lashes are actually still really long. Not sure if it has anything to do w the lattise but I've noticed a change since I used it.
