My left shoulder is all messed up and due to that, it causes really bad and sharp pains in my upper back and chest. On Wednesday it felt like it pinched a nerve in my neck, so it started going up into my neck, later on in the day it went into my temple.
I figured since I didn't sleep much the night before and was up 12+ hours that I just needed sleep. But it is still persistent. I feel like my cheek should be numb or swollen or something.
I don't have a normal family Doctor. Is this something I should go to an urgent care or ER for?
I'm also terrified of heartattacks (my Husband's step brother just passed away from one). And the left side pain gives me pause, even though I really cannot move my shoulder and can feel it deep in the bone/muscle. I went to the ER back in June and they did all the tests and ruled it to be shoulder/muscle problem. Which I figured.
But now I'm back to "omgomgomg" and working myself up into a panic.
Would it be stupid to go to an urgent care on shoulder pain alone? Over the counter meds are not getting rid of it. Plus the stiff neck/temple issue, I feel like someone clubbed me in the ear. But it isn't an earache and it isn't a tooth issue.

A woman having a heart attack is less likely to have left arm pain. More often that not, she has nausea, vomiting and balance issues. Its part of why women have a harder time getting their heart attack properly diagnosed. Doctors keep looking for women to have a man's heart attack, so its probably not that.
Look up a primary doc in your insurance and go. You did something to the joint.
