soft baby shoe recs for cankles and fat feet

Fiona has cankles and chubby little feet. Robeez were always my go-to shoes for Linus since they're so flexible and easy to fit. I got a pair of 6-12 mnts for fiona and the length was fine, almost too small, but NO WAY were her little fat feet getting in them!!! They were the kind with the strap across the top so I thought maybe it was the fit of the girlier styles. So I tried a pair of 12-18 month regular slip-on robeez style. The length was too big, but the elastic around the ankles was waaaaay too tight still. So I need something super flexible like robeez still, but that will actually fit her. Anyone have pedipeds or see kai run they can compare to for me? They're so expensive I hate to buy them if they won't work and I don't actually have anywhere that sells them here.

Can you try the Target brand, Ministar? They're like Robeez. They won't stay on G's feet bc the ankles aren't tight enough...maybe that would work well for you?

Target has shoes that are basically slip on socks with walking soles. Maybe that would work?

see kai run with the strap style. They are rock solid on Anna's chubby feet, the only shoes she can't get off (and they are still comfy, no marks or anything left).
