So my 6 and 4 year old share a room. They picked the paint color and so it's a strong green color with one wall as a chalkboard wall (black). They each have a spindle bed from the 1960's (twin) and we have one wall filled with clipboards so they can change out their art.
I would like something on their wall above their beds and possibly a bedside table for them, but can't figure out what kind of art to put over their beds or why type of bedside table (small) would look good with their low beds. I also need to get them new sheets/covers and I'm leaning toward just going white duvets with colored sheets, but not really sure.
Any design ideas at all you could share would be great. It's not too bright in there, so adding more white would probably be better than more black.
Thanks and here's a mood board with what they have now that might help...
I like the white duvet idea with plaid sheets in blue and green. I have no links to offer since I'm about to start class, but I wanted to throw that out there for now. I like your mood board and ideas so far.
N's room is green. He has this comforter and we keep the white side facing out to offset all the color. We don't have room for art work though. We just have lots of shelves and book rails and places for him to display his TKD awards.
