I never thought I would leave teaching, but there is a strong possibility this will be my last year. I have one absolutely horrendous class and I am seriously at my wits end
I find myself saying that a lot and then yesterday a little boy came up to me and said in a whisper "I like to read now." Those are the little things that keep me going and Tara is right, it's almost June. We don't have to live with these kids, their parents do.
True, and in another class, two kids who struggled all year long are doing AWESOME now. But man, with this administration and their lack of discipline policy, I'm struggling a lot.
This has been a horrible migraine week. I have missed half my workouts and I suck at work because even with the meds I can just barely put on the appearance of being alive.

This.exactly. I'm on day 3 of a migraine myself.
Day 3 for me as well. Good luck, dude. It has to end sometime, right?

I need to go in and ask about some different medication. We moved to a totally different climate + altitude last summer and since then it seems like they are more severe and I am more sensitive to my triggers. Maybe it's a coincidence, but still I need to do something.
This is the 2nd year in a row this particular 15k is going to be ruined by my IT band. This is a huge event for my city, as it's the track & field 15K championship. I had big hopes for a huge PR since the two other times I have run it, I've had issues. I've been trying to stay positive, and I know I have 2 more days, but my leg really hurts this morning.
ETA: I think the foam rolling has been making it worse. Is that possible? I should stop until the inflammation has gone down, huh? Damn it!!!
The temps outside are actually nice enough to attempt a run after work tonight...and we got 6 inches of snow yesterday. Which normally would not phase me but given my current status as a weeblewobble is not going to happen. Baaaaaah. I don't WANNA run at the gym again!

I sprained my right index finger knuckle about 6 months ago now, and it still hurts. I know for it to get better, but to do that I have to keep my right hand in a brace. Um, how am I supposed to drive/type/function in that thing? I just want it to get betterrrrrr.
And I want my car back. The shop's had it for 2 full weeks and it was only supposed to take a week. Did I mention its in the shop because my BOSS BACKED INTO IT in front of the office because he just wasn't paying attention? Grrr.
