1. Where are you in your TTC journey? TTC#2 for 3 years. CD1.
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related?
3. QOTW/QTKY- Do you have a garden? If so what do you plant? We have a large garden. This year we are planting corn, onions, yellow squash, zucchini, green beans, peas, broccoli, eggplant, romaine lettuce, spinach, peppers, tomatoes, beets, and radishes. This is my first year planting eggplant, so I'm not sure how they will turn out. I've started some of my seedlings, but I still have a little while before planting.
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? About to start cycle 4...I am so mad at myself for getting my hopes up again only to start getting bright red spotting at 8dpo. also had unexplained mid cycle bleeding this time around...yuck!
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? I started a secret pregnancy Pinterest board.
3. QOTW/QTKY- Do you have a garden? If so what do you plant? Not yet but will be planting one soon! Anyone have any plant suggestions for sandy soil?
1. Cycle 3, CD 18, no O yet... 2. Not TTC related, but I am currently OOT and snowquestered in my hotel. Snow day!!! 3. I don't have a garden, although I want one. We have terraced stone beds in our backyard, but they are overgrown with ferns, ivy, etc. I'm slowly weeding them out by hand over the past two years - don't want to throw a bunch of pesticide somewhere that I plan on growing veggies

I have a secret baby/pregnancy board on Pinterest, too. I have to order a new iron from Amazon (a bug crawled into the water reservoir of mine...eww) and I really want to order a onesie at the same time. I just want to buy something, anything baby.
1. HA, great question. I'm not sure. I normally O around CD19, and I had all the signs around CD19 this month, but my temp hasn't risen and I still have fertile CM. DH is OOT, so we may strike out this cycle. Anyone's welcome to chart stalk me if they want: My Ovulation Chart (Don't worry about the open circles - my temp isn't very sensitive to early/late waking.)
2. Not really.
3. I don't grow vegetables, if that's what you mean. My house is landscaped (by me), but I wouldn't call myself a gardener. I have beds and trees and seasonal color, but only bc I'm too controlling not to have the prettiest yard on the block I'm a "plant it once and never touch it again" kind of girl, so now that my engineered-to-be-low-maintenance beds are established, I'm in them only about 3 times a year to lightly weed and plant seasonal color (pansies/petunias).
2. DH and I are 90% certain we're going to try this cycle even though it would mean a Christmas baby, and I couldn't drink in New Orleans in a few weeks. If it's meant to be we'll be stoked, if not, I can party like a drunken sailor in the Big Easy. BIL's wife is due this month. I'm happy for them but it's hard not to feel a little jealous/lousy.
3. Well, I talked ad nauseum about my garden in a different thread Yesterday I was shredding newspaper in my office and taking it home in bags like a crazy lady. I hope the soil dries by this weekend after this snow (we're up to 5 inches already), I really want to work on the soil. I'll have to PIP our Yoshino cherry blossom in a couple weeks. I need to prune our young fruit trees. I'm nervous about it but my pruning book indicates a lot of pruning is needed, especially for the apple trees.
ETA: A lot of herbs like sandy soil e.g., - thyme, rosemary. Tomatoes and blueberries do pretty well too. To amend your soil, start working in peat moss and compost.
1. Cycle 1 TTC CD 35. I thought that maybe I didn't ovulate this month and then my temp spiked a few days ago. My first cycle off BC was 44 days and this is cycle 3 and pretty closely following the first cycle. Maybe one of my ovaries is slow? Does anyone know anything about this? Cycle 2 off BC was 27 days.
2. I also have a secret pregnancy board on Pinterest.
3. I kind of have a black thumb so no garden for me.

1. Cycle 5 CD6 2. I have a secret baby board on pinterest too. It's fun to think if nursery ideas. 3. I suck at gardening. I am sure everything would die.

You could just have long cycles. That's totally a thing. 28 is the mathematical average, but women can have cycles as short as 15 days and as long as 45 days. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstrual_cycle#Length
If I read right, you've only been off BC ~90 days? Give it more time before you start to analyze yourself to death Be sure to keep good charts. If you don't have any troubling symptoms (excessively heavy periods, pain), I wouldn't worry yet.
1. Cycle 7, CD28 2. My thyroid levels are normal. Now DH will go for SA. In other news, I hate everything and everyone today. PMS rips me of what little patience I have the rest of the month. 3. I have some perennial sage that I've managed not to kill yet. They're pretty tolerant of being ignored. I also have a hydrangea in a pot that I am determined to nurture this year into something other than one sad little stick. We shall see how that goes.

Thanks for the feedback! You read right - I have only been off BC for a short time. I am an over analayzer so TTC is consuming me already!
1. Where are you in your TTC journey? TTA Cycle #3 since October. 7 dpo
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related? I got crosshairs/temp shift this month! So hopefully, I am now ovulating because my thyroid is in check. The only bad thing is that I have gotten a bacterial/yeast infection every cycle so far (3 in a row now) before my period. I had never gotten them before. I do not know what is up with my body. Is it my medicine? Due to traveling since I have been on a trip each time or what?
3. QOTW/QTKY- Do you have a garden? If so what do you plant? No. My H and I both have brown thumbs. Everything we touch dies and we think gardening is a chore...lol. I do think it is super cool to grow your own food.

1. Cycle 7, CD 28, 10 DPO. I started spotting yesterday so I'm expecting that cycle 8 will start tomorrow. FF was predicting a 31 day cycle so I'm a little bummed that my LP seems to be shrinking again. 2. H and I talked about boy names last night (we already have a girl name plus two in reserve since everyone we know is getting pregnant before us and the first one is pretty popular) and it confirmed my suspicion that there is zero overlap in the boy names we like. None. I feel weird talking about names now anyway though because of how discouraged I'm getting, but he started talking about it so I hopped on board. 3. We just had our backyard regraded and a dry well put in to help with flooding, so I'm not sure if we would be able to put in a garden or if it's still too wet. It's also really shady. Also I hate yard work, lol. I've always wanted to at least grow tomatoes, though, so maybe we'll get some pots and put them on the patio.
I'm new here and just posted an intro thread, but wanted to join in here too if you guys don't mind.
1. Cycle 2, CD 34 (6DPO)
2. Even though I know nothing is going to change, I keep checking my FF chart, hoping it will give me a clue as to whether I'm pregnant. I really need to stop looking at baby clothes online, because I keep seeing cute things I want to buy, but know I shouldn't.
3. I do have a garden and am so excited to start planting seeds outside. I started my tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers inside this week. I plan to plant peas, beans, corns, spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, chard, beets, carrots, and some herbs outside. I can't wait for the snow to melt and the soil to warm up so I can start my garden. My husband made fun of me last year for how excited I got when my garden started producing veggies.
2. FF put my crosshairs two days later then I would have put them, which screws up our timing. I had a very slow temp rise, so I had set the detection method to OPK, but set it back to Advanced today because my temp was pretty high, and it moved the crosshairs. Boo! CD13 just seems weird as my ovulation day, since I was cramping on the days leading up to CD11, and had spotting and a positive OPK on CD11, but by the night of CD11 I felt fine- cramps were gone, and OPKs were negative the days after. So then I didn't ovulate for two more days? Sigh. On a good note, my cysts from December are gone. But now I have a new one. I have to go back in 3 months to check it, and I'll talk to the doctor too, since we will be over a year trying by then.
3. I'm planning lettuce, hot peppers, a tomato, green beans, herbs, sunflowers, and a butterfly bush for my garden, can't wait
1. Cycle 3 CD 16. 2. Hoping I ovulate in the next 24-48 hours since H is going out of town all weekend. :-( 3. I do not have a garden. I am in a temporary rental anyway, and both H and I have black thumbs. I also do not have the patience to tend the garden.
I am glad to know that I am not the only one with a secret pregnancy pinterest board!
Ha, I don't just have one, I have THREE. One for kids' Christmas (my usual Christmas style is very formal, breakable, "llama no touchy", so juvenile Christmas stuff has to go somewhere or people will know what's up), one for parenting tips/advice, and one for kid stuff (crafts, nursery decor, car activities, etc).

1. Cycle 10, CD12
2. SIL sent us a funny family gag gift that has been passed around since their parents' generation; each couple sends it to the next once they've had their first baby. Maybe it'll be a good luck charm for us.
3. We have some square foot planters, but haven't grown anything in a couple of years. We're renting so it's hard; it would be so much easier if we could put some irrigation in but we don't want to put too much time or money into improving our landlord's property.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
2.Anything interesting/funny/neurotic to share TTC related?
3. QOTW/QTKY- Do you have a garden? If so what do you plant?
1. Not pregnant. 2ww started today. 2. We are finally going to the specialist next week. Yay! 3. Yes. I just planted bulbs. Mostly I cut out the dead stuff, cut back the overgrown stuff, and cut out the stuff that stings or attracts too many bees. I'm allergic and some asshole in the neighborhood clearly keeps bees. When they are out we get hundreds or thousands in our tiny yard. It's insane and I have to keep my kid in. Grrr.
1. Cycle 5 CD 19 come on O I'm getting tired here!
2. Had an ultrasound on Monday to check for cysts or fibroids. I was all clear and the tech even commented on the follies I had going. So that's good, but does not solve why I've been having so much spotting and nearly 2 week long periods. Oh well!
3. I'm planning on planting my first since childhood this year. I'll do a little herb garden and then hopefully some tomatoes and hot peppers. Perhaps it will be a salsa garden?
1. Cycle 4 CD 6 2. I also have a secret baby board on pinterest. I went for my CD3 tests a few days ago and I am hoping that I will get my results back soon. 3. This will be our first garden this year. I helped my mom growing up so I'm hoping it won't be to hard to get back in the hang of it. We do have to put up a fence first though, otherwise our puppy would destroy it. But I did plant my tomatoes inside last night.
