I'd probably do plain white, but yellow could also work.
If you like the prints you should use them. I think a guest room should be fun. Ours looks like the room of a 14 year old girl between the artwork and the jazzy carpet, but it makes me happy. I think many people take decorating way too seriously.
So when the post first loaded and I couldn't see the bedding yet, I totally thought this was for a nursery. I was taken aback to see a queen bed instead of a crib in the pic. What if you did white curtains but stitch witched on some yellow grosgrain ribbon on the edges?

I would go with white curtains. I'll admit I thought nursery when I saw the prints. They are cute though and if you like them, then use them. You could also make the room feel more adult with the accessories you choose.
Ah I guess I will skip the owl. I like owls but am not obsessed with them. I don't want to give that impression since I already have an owl cookie jar. Lol! I think I am going find a painting for above the bed instead. Thanks every one!
