So, I have a cocktail formal at the end of April that I go to yearly. I'm tired of buying a dress once that I never wear again, so I'm going to use Rent the Runway. Of course I fell in love with the most expensive one, but this is my 2nd choice. Do you think I could wear it? I have larger boobs, so I'm worried they won't fit The picture of me in the black dress is my most recent dressy photo.
It's beautiful, but you are such a tiny thing that I worry it would be too long and you couldn't alter it.
I thought of that, but I think I'd have that with any long rental Plus, the thought of buying a dress, altering it, then wearing it once hurts my head.

The consignment shop Mercer Place on South Broadway has a decent selection of nice (designer) formal dresses. Of course, their inventory always changes, but it might be a good and not terribly expensive solution.
Love Love Love that dress! I can't see how much structure the dress has (does it some front built in wiring or 'strong' seems?) if so then I think it will work.

The dress is pretty, but it seems to be it would be very hard to pull off unless you have that models body type, and even then, i'm sure she is photoshopped.
If you have larger boobs, how are you going to deal with the bra situation in that dress?
I'd probably get one of those sticky underwire ones. I've used them before. I'm a 34D, so not huge but enough that dresses need to be bigger for boob room.
How tall are you? I might have something. I have two knee length dresses and one long dress, but it is really low cut in the back. I am 5'1" about 155#. 36D. I wore the long dress when I was a 34D. I used one of those sticky bras (which is probably a 34D, too)
You can rent them a week in advance, right? I would do that to see how it looks, but keep a couple backups in mind to get them quickly shipped if it doesn't work.
I totally forgot about that. I knew you could order a back up dress, too.
My friend used that recently and when she called about something, the customer service person was super knowledgable about how ea dress fit in particular. Maybe worth calling for a chat?
