What does your training schedule look like for the week? Monday, ran 6, Tues. track, Wed. bike 2 hours (maybe I have somewhere to be, so not sure how to get this in!), Thurs. brick, Fri. swim, sat 3.5 hour ride
Any injuries or problems? just sore
Highlights from last week? Not really, hard week work wise and missed a few workouts
What event are you training for/date?Nothing officially, but next on my calendar are the RNR VA Beach Half 9/3 and the Marine Corps Marathon 10/28
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon - 3M + Strength, Tue - 4M, Wed - 7 x 400, Thur-3M + Strength, Fri- Rest, Sat-45 fartlek, Sun-8M
Any injuries or problems? Going good.
Highlights from last week? There was a track & field event going on at the HS track I usually go to. I was just planning on using the half of the track they weren't using to my 200s. Instead they saw me running and invited me to join their 200 race. So I did that. I felt a little weird racing against kids (and losing badly), but it was fun. I justified my loss since I was running like 10 of them as opposed to one.
What sports did you play in high school? JV Soccer and Volleyball I was never good enough for Varsity.
Semper Fi 5k, June 30th. I want a post kids PR. I really want a HUGE pk PR (drop from 28.07 to somewhere in the 26es) but I'm attempting to force myself to be realistic.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Monday-off, Tuesday-4 easy mi, Wednesday-strength, Thursday-5 miles, with middle 3 at 9:15, Friday-strength and possible short bike ride, Saturday-off, Sunday-8 miles
Any injuries or problems?
No real problems. I have a hard time keeping my easy runs easy.
Highlights from last week?
I had negative splits the entire way through Sunday's 7 mile run.
What sports did you play in high school?
Field hockey, winter track (middle distance sprinter), and soccer. I used to be awesome at sports. 12 varsity letters. :-P
What event are you training for/date? wineglass marathon, 9/30
What does your training schedule look like for the week? it's my second week, i think my long run is supposed to be 9 miles, but i have a 10k instead (+ warm up, cool down, it'll be close to 9 miles)
Any injuries or problems? nope

What sports did you play in high school? i lasted 4 days on the track team. so that hardly counts. and im guessing math league in jr. high doesnt count. so none.

M - 45 min boot camp Tu - Track workout (5-6 miles total) W - Easy run (4-5 miles) + 75 min yoga Th - 45 min boot camp + easy run (3 mi) F - 75 min yoga Sa - Long run (9-10 mi) Su - Off
Any injuries or problems? Nope!
Highlights from last week? I had several good work outs but nothing really stands out

What event are you training for/date? Sprint Tri, this Saturday!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Easy peesy: M: 3m run, Bodypump, 1000m swim; T: 60 minute easy ride; W: 5 m run; R: 60 minute easy ride; F: riding the race course; S: race!
Any injuries or problems? My foot is bothering me, but not when I'm running/riding. I'll take that as a win.
Highlights from last week? A great final ramp up: felt good and strong.

What event are you training for/date? I have 3-4 mountain bike races between now and the end of July, but I'm not peaking for any of them.

Sunday-race (got 3rd) Monday: 60 minute recovery ride Tuesday: 25 mile hilly group ride Wed: Either 25 mile hilly ride at a moderate pace or intervals on the local rail trail Thursday/Friday/Sat.: Depends on a work project. I may have an unscheduled rest block.

Highlights from last week? 3rd place in my biggest mountain bike race of the year.
What sports did you play in high school? Swimming and riding horses--and getting fat (200 pounds).
What event are you training for/date? unofficially--Oct. 21 Columbus half
What does your training schedule look like for the week? M: short (20 min.) yoga/core workout T: long yoga/arm workout1 W: maybe a run/short pilates (10 min.) workout and easy yoga R: arm2 workout/long yoga F: 2 mile run/short yoga S: 8-10 mile run/leg workout
Any injuries or problems? my shoes crapped out this week and gave me the worst shin pain (which also means I'm going to get fitted for new shoes today because these died with less than 150 miles on them)
Highlights from last week? Monday's 5K; it rocked and was pre-shoe crapout; my dad also told me how proud he was of me and finally finding something athletic that I enjoy
What sports did you play in high school? volleyball; I was bad at sports of all kinds (and really still am!); I have no coordination at all!

What event are you training for/date? nothing right now - but i am thinking of looking for a local 10k
What does your training schedule look like for the week? today; rest, picking veggies from the garden w/dad wed; yoga on a paddleboard + run @ the beach thur; yoga fri; run - we will shoot for 3 miles sat; weights sun; yoga on a paddleboard
Any injuries or problems? ankle was starting to talk after 1.5hr yoga + 2 hour ballet class (really started to talk in pointe)

What sports did you play in high school? Basketball and softball, I was pretty good at softball till we transitioned to fast pitch

What does your training schedule look like for the week? Fitting in training in between travelling - swim M/T/W, lift and bike Thurs, bike Friday, off Saturday, don't know about Sunday?
Any injuries or problems? Just having to work around travel and not having access to my normal training routine or my bike!
Highlights from last week? I had my best ever pace ride on my bike.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? I'm shooting for 45 miles this week. So far I did 3 easy with the stroller yesterday and 7.3 on the treadmill this morning with some random intervals.
Any injuries or problems? Getting used to early morning work outs again. They have been hit and miss since the baby still wakes at random times. She woke a mile into my run this morning.
Highlights from last week? Had a couple solid runs (including a 15 miler), after having a bad h&f week.
What event are you training for/date? 10K this Saturday in Georgetown!

Highlights from last week? During my long run, I guess I was struggling up a big hill in my neighborhood and this lady who was walking down her driveway said something like, "You've got this hill! You can do it, runner!" This totally made my day.
What sports did you play in high school? Varsity Field Hockey and one season of JV soccer because they needed folks to play so they recruited the field hockey girls, I was pretty bad but I was a starter and I met my best friend during tryouts lol

What does your training schedule look like for the week? 6, 5, 12 (and hopefully 1-2 XT days), missed my 12-miler last weekend b/c DH got stuck at work for 48 straight - which was the entire weekend, awesome!
Any injuries or problems? no physical issues, but scheduling is getting really bad...there are a ton of order-ins for DH at work in the warmer months and it really F's up my plans sometimes. not to mention it makes me a cranky b*** when i can't exercise (and 30DS in my living room doesn't help)!!! i really need a home gym i think!
Highlights from last week? kick ass functional training class, i was so sore but still did an easy 5 the day after.
