Random question from a lurker, have any of you had blisters develop on toes or the balls of your feet from a pair of shoes? I was fitted for a new pair about 100 miles ago have had nothing but issues with blisters on my big toes and the balls of my feet. I've tried changing socks (like 4 different types) nothing seems to make a difference so I'm wondering if its the shoes as I've never had a problem. Anyone have this issue before?
I have not experienced it, but if it started after you got new shoes and it is not the socks, then I'd think it's safe to assume the problem is with the shoes. Is it a different brand than what you had before?
Could they be too tight in to toe box? I used to get blisters on my toes from them rubbing together. I started putting Body Glide on them and that helped a lot.

Both Nike's and Mizuno's give me blisters. They just aren't right for the shape of my foot. I didn't realize it was the shoes until I started wearing Brooks.
It's a pair of Nikes, I had them about two pairs ago and they were fine so I decided to give them another shot. Not sure if they made big changes to the model or the shape as they feel the same as the old ones. I hate scrapping them after not a lot of miles but this is getting annoying!
