So I went to Home Depot to pick up some more tub and tile caulk because now I am a caulking BOSS thanks to one measly project (<<< joke), and when I got to the caulk aisle you could hear a needle scratch across a record because there were so. many. choices.
I tried googling on my phone but every caulk had mixed reviews. I ended up going with GE Silicone II because apparently this is Consumer Reports' top choice. Or something. I think.
Anyhoo, does anyone have caulk brand recommendations or warnings?
For that I'd probably get one of the silicone ones specifically for Kitchen and Bath. Usually I buy DAP. I've never had a problem with it but I'm pretty good about using it for what it's intended for (ie, window caulk for windows, painters caulk for moulding). I'm betting a lot of the angry reviewers are using the wrong caulks for their intended purpose.
