Eat something light about an hour before you go. Bring water.
Go at your own pace and have fun! There will likely be a wide range of abilities in the same class. Don't get hung up on not being the fastest or lifting the heaviest.
I've found CF'ers to be a highly supportive and welcoming group. Hope you enjoy it!

Get ready to feel it tomorrow! Your trainer will walk you through everything you need to know (or they should anyway). Make sure you stretch really well before and after and roll out your muscles! (again, your trainer should tell you all of that) Don't be discouraged if you can't do everything yet, there are lots of movements that take a long time to develop, even if you're already fit. Have fun!
I agree the PP that there will probably be a wide range of abilities and no one will be worrying about what you are doing or what weight you are lifting. But they will most likely help you out if you are unsure how to do something. The trainer should also be keeping an eye on you too.
My husband just started back and after a 1/2 hour into his first class he had to go lay outside in the parking lot. He had no shame and no one was judging him. But I did love that the owner came out and asked him if that was a good time for him to sign his payment information paperwork. he-he
Don't go on an empty stomach and be ready to work! You probably won't be the fastest or the strongest right out of the gate, but don't sell yourself short because you're the "new guy." Push yourself.
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee

Longer shirts - that's a good idea. I've got one longer tank, I'll need to pick up a couple of more. Thanks for the recommendations ladies. I was sore for three days after my test drive a couple of weeks ago. I fully expect to be crawling tomorrow. I'll have to remember to use my stick after working out.
