I already forget what we did Friday night, lol. Saturday we had friends over for brunch and had a doggie play date with our pups, then we went furniture shopping for a new bedroom set. I think I found one I like but I am still thinking it over. Saturday night we went out to dinner in town.
Sunday I got a lot done. I went running, did a Pilates class, cleaned the house, stocked the fridge, made beef stew. It was a really productive day.
I remember what I did Friday! I took a bubble bath and drank wine, lol.
My weekend was really fantastic, but I am paying the price for it today:)
Friday - I had my hair and makeup done at G20 so felt really good, they did a really nice job, I'd definitely go back again for another service. Then I headed over to City Hall. Felt very glamorous getting changed in the city hall bathroom! There were some interesting characters also waiting to get married so made for good people watching. The city clerk who married us was amazing, the ceremony was really great, she even helped us pose afterwards for pics and held my bouquet for some artsy shots. We then headed back to the Fairmont and got checked in and changed then had drinks down in the Oak Room bar. I had never been in the hotel before but it was so gorgeous. We had dinner in the North End at Lucca, which had some sentimental value as my DH used to live right next door to there when we first started dating. A couple of people flying in had some issues with the weather, but everyone made it in by Saturday morning.
Saturday - DH spent the night at the hotel with me then we got up and had breakfast then parted ways so we could hang out with our respective groups. We started with mani/pedis at Miniluxe which was fun, then grabbed some cupcakes from Georgetown cupcakes. Next we had lunch at Legal Harborside which was awesome and was such a gorgeous view. Then we went to Harpoon for a tour/tasting with the guys which was fun. After that we headed back to the hotel and freshened up for dinner. Before dinner the ladies presented me with some risque gifts as well as some accessories for the night which included a flashing "bride to be" button, bachelorette on the loose shot glass necklace, tiara, garter belt, and candy penis necklace it was quite the look. We had dinner at Typhoon which wasn't too great, but was fine. We then moved on and hit up some bars. Throughout the night I had some bachelorette night out "challenge cards," which included - share a strangers drink, drink various shots, and have the bartender make you their favorite drink. DH also had a great outfit for the night which included a tutu and pink fur hat - the went to Fogo de Chau, Cigar masters and various other bars, then crammed 5 of them in a room with 1 bed!
Sunday - Sunday was really rough but I powered through. We had brunch at Stephanie's and then all headed home. DH and I spent the rest of the day napping and relaxing.
It was a great weekend, my friends were amazing and i had a blast with everyone. But, am feeling much too old for them, good thing I'm only planning on doing this once. It hasn't really sunk in that we are married at this point, I think in part as it felt like we were at the DMV and also cause I spent the day running around like a crazy person. I'm thinking it will feel much more real with our family and friends around us in the Turks. We're also going to wait until the next ceremony to wear our wedding bands for good.

We went to 111 Chophouse in Worcester on Friday - so yummy! Saturday I hung out at the salon with my friend while she did her wedding hair trial and then went out to dinner with my family. Sunday we hung out, grocery shopped, added stuff to our baby registry. It was so nice out!

Friday: Snowbound at home with a sick lil guy... he had a junky cough & some tummy troubles, but we had fun playing all day & watching every Cars movie together Saturday: More of the same as Friday but DH came home from work around 3... so we all hung out & watched Wreck it Ralph Sunday: We visited with friends who made us a yummy pork supper with "awesome sauce" & mixed veggies. It was fun & the lil guy got to play with their cat & dog (which is good practice for the animal since my friends will be having kids of their own one day). Last night we got Indian & DH & I got caught up on the DVR.

Fri, I worked a half-day (first week back after maternity leave) and had a quiet night in with the fam. Sat, we had gymnastics/swimming for the kids. I ended up going out with friends once our little guy was asleep, and wasn't home til 1 am - haven't done that in awhile and I paid the price. This sounds dumb, but we went to a few different places and all took one car because of parking. It was fun having 5 people in a car, because I feel like we all just meet up places now. Like being back in hs/college.
Sunday, we went to a fun indoor playplace and met up with a grad school friend and her kiddos, and lunch at Papa Ginos. Then dinner with the IL's.
My weekend was more entertaining than expected. My H's hometown is another universe. After the bridal shower most of the 20 & 30 somethings went to a bar and we ended up getting kicked out because some people got too wasted. There were several drunken fights and some guy in the wedding party (who is married with a newborn) kept relentlessly hitting on me no matter how many times I was like "DUDE, I'm married. To that guy. And you're creepy. BACK OFF". H and I spent most of the night with this face
How fun for you, scm! Heh. And that dude sounds like my husband's friend who spent all of our wedding hitting on people, including my SIL (in front of her husband), and my BFF (in front of her-husband-the-cop). He also hit on some dude's girlfriend in front of him back at the hotel, and got jumped by like 10 guys as a result. He went home with a broken nose and a busted face, and I am still trying to figure out how the hell he explained that to his wife. (Who was not invited- he was a last-minute add on by his brother. H hadn't seen him in years, because he'd moved away, but had stayed friends with the brother. So when brother said, "hey, he's back do you mind if I bring him?" We said of course. )
The weekend was too short. Saturday, we got up and went to breakfast at the diner, got birthday frappes for lunch, got dinner at No 9 Park, and basically lounged around otherwise. Sunday, I had to be at work for noon, so I was here all day. And have been here pretty much ever since. Hurry up, Friday!!
The highlight of my weekend was registering. J was SO into it and it was actually his idea to do it that day. I just wanted to browse. His brother called him while we were there and between the time he called and when we got home his brother already bought 2 of the big items... lol.
We also picked out paint to redo 3 of the bedrooms and looked at some new furniture for the family room area. The room is huge and really hard to figure out how to decorate because it is a big box with one side having a large door and window to the porch and another having a fireplace. No layout really looks right.

Aww, how sweet of his brother! And of J for being so excited to go do it Where did you guys go to register? Did you use the BBB coupon yet?
Post a pic of the room, maybe we can help with decorating. And I'm just nosy and curious to see what it looks like, haha.
We registered at Buy Buy Baby and we did use the coupon! We ordered our customized glider and ottoman! Yay! It takes 12-16 weeks to get here.
I'll take a photo next time I'm there and would love all of your thoughts.
