We are hoping to have our raised beds finished and get dirt in them in the next 3 weeks. We are planting a lot this year. Not all of it will be in raised beds but most will be. I can't wait!
Carrots, cucumber, zuchini, lettuce, onion (yellow and green), peppers (green bell and anaheim), spinach, tomatoes (2 varieties), sugar snap peas, basil, cat nip, parsley, garlic, oregano, watermelon, pumpkin, rhubarb, strawberries, and gooseberries.
I have my early spring garden in. Broccoli, lettuce, radish, spinach, turnips and carrots. After the first of April irish potatoes will go in. Mid April is when the green beans, tomatoes, zucchini, and cucumbers will go in. My herb garden will get basil and malabar spinach. I need to find a new place for my pumpkins and cantaloupe. Their vines take over the garden space I have. Sweet potatoes will go in toward the end of May.

Broccoli, lettuce, spinach, radishes, corn, green beans, peas, onions, eggplant, bell peppers, and squash. I'm skipping watermelon and pumpkins this year. I don't want to mess with vines this year. Plus we are going to plant a lot more corn and don't have the room. I have some of my seeds and need to get some of my seedlings started. They didn't have the type of corn I wanted, so I need to go to a different store.
Yes, but we never got a freeze down here. Everything is in except for my full-size tomato seedlings are still on my windowsill with cilantro and basil that I'm trying to grow from seed.
Box 1: Rosemary, oregano and sage that never died back. Volunteer cilantro plants that I transplanted from other boxes. Cabbage from winter that was a real slow starter. Spinach and lettuce. Basil will go in here when it's ready. Green beans along the edge that will be directed onto an arch between boxes 1&2.
Box 2: Zucchini from seed, green beans on the other side of the arch. Spinach, collards, carrots along the other edges. Full size tomatoes will go in and directed onto an arch between boxes 2&3.
Box 3: Cherry tomatoes (Sweet 100) on the other side of the arch. Broccoli leftover from winter, will be coming out soon. Serrano peppers direct sow from seed (not optimistic about this one), jalepeno from transplants. Radishes, carrots, and I feel like something else that I'm missing.
I don't have nearly enough established gardens yet for all of the seeds that I've hoarded over the past couple of months. I tripled the backyard garden last summer by laying down cardboard, I'm interested to see how that worked once all the snow melts. In the front I'll be putting in a raised hugulkultur bed which should be cool to watch develop over the years. I'll also be expanding my perennial garden out to the driveway and devote it to vegs. I feel bad for my neighbors because last summer I had to have my utility lines marked twice, and I'll probably do it again this summer. I need to start taking pictures when they come out. It will probably be a few years before my front yard looks finished.
My plant list -Sweet bells -Zuchhini -2 types of cucumbers -5 types of beans- I need to build a zillion trellises -Peas -Carrots -Cantaloupe -Onions -Watermelon -A few varieties of indeterminate tomatoes for the first time, I picked up a relatively rare seed this past weekend at an exchange that grows a fuzzy tomato. -The usual herb assortment -Ground Cherry -Kale -I might pick up a bluebell grape if I'm ambitious enough to build an arbor.
We're going to be purchasing a lot of veggies from the nursery There's just too much prep to start from seed. We'll do easy things from seed like peas, pumpkins, and sunflowers.
So far, I've turned over two beds, worked in gypsum, peat moss, newspaper, coffee grounds, compost, etc. DH and I are going to a stone yard to look at/purchase flagstone (hopefully for a patio & walkway in the garden). I need to extend the fence to keep the deer out. So there's a lot to do before we start planting in April/May.

We're not planting much this year due to too much else to do, R just can't take any more stuff - we're going to have to rely on our CSA for veggies. We are putting in some asparagus (since it takes two years) and some thornless blackberries. We're going to have to get our thorned mega-blackberry patch under control, too.
I just wanted to say that I'm jealous. We still have snow on the ground and it will be another two months before I can even think about planting anything.
I think we are going to have to wait until Sept to plant anything. By the time we move next month and get settled, I think it will be too late to get anything in before it gets too hot.
I ordered some gardening books that I think will be helpful for figuring out what and when to plant there. The funny thing is that we are moving to pretty much the same planting zone, just on the other side of the country. It looks like the difficulty will be planning for extremes. We get low temps here, but not many days of high temps, and it is almost the opposite there. It will definitely be different.

I live in Ohio and we had snow today, but we've already started some seedlings indoors.
