Have any of you used these? My friend gave me hers to use ( don't worry you can use someone else's). She said she got pregnant the first month using it after trying for 7 months. This is my first month using it. I thought I would give it a shot since my cycles seem to be so irregular and it is hard for me to detect O. I am glad that I could borrow it form her and not have to spend $200 on it at least. We will see if it helps this month.
I would like to hear more about these, as well. Are they any more useful thank OPKs? I haven't had a problem getting a positive test with those, I just don't temp so I can't confirm I definitely O'd. I'm going to temp this month, so would this be as accurate?
We tried for three months. The third month I started using the CBE Fertility Monitor and that's the month we got pregnant. No idea if it was a coincidence, but it worked for me.
We also temped and did OPKs. I kinda feel like it was just karma that made it work - like, as soon as I bought the $150 tool, of course I got knocked up.

Lo- I guess they say it's helpful because it can detect estrogen and LH and will give you more of about a weeks notice rather then just a 2 or 3 day notice of when you are going to O like an opk does. It will give you low, high or prime fertility awareness. It says that when it says high to start having sex then and also when it tells you it's prime fertility. I thought I'd give it a shot. I have heard some good reviews about it and my friend had one for me to use

I have heard this from SO many people - that they got pregnant the first cycle.
And, I keep putting off buying one too because I am thinking, "As soon as I spend that money I'm going to end up pregnant and not needing it!" Now that I think of it, maybe I should buy it just to see if that's really what happens. At this point it would be the best money I've spent in two years! lol.

Not sure if you have a Flexible Spending Account, but fertility monitors are eligible purchases. Also, Costco has a really good deal on the CBEFM from time to time. I think it's like $130 for the monitor and an extra box of sticks.
My sister swears by it, she had problems GP and after using it got KU right away. I've considered buying one, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. My sister said I could use hers but I am not ready to come out of the closet to her yet.
Orangeblossom, thanks for the tip about using FSA funds! I just ordered my first batch of Wondfo OPKs over the weekend, but I've got money to burn in my FSA so maybe I will splurge on a CBEFM once I use all of these OPKs. You know, if I'm not pregnant by then...
I've heard of people having good success with the CBEFM, like 1st month of trying with the monitor. They say it is totally worth the $150.

I'm not sure if you guys think it's weird or not, but you can buy them from eBay. I am borrowing one from a friend and just wiped mine down with a q tip and water. You don't actually getting urine or anything in or on the monitor. I called the clear blue number and asked If it was ok to use it and they helped me reset it to my cycle. So, if you don't want to spend that much money there is always eBay selling monitors and sticks.
