I think this has been posted before, but if you don't mind sharing. How many cycles (or how long) did it take you to conceieve?
I'd make a poll but I figure people with multiple kids probably had different experiences each time. I realize I'm only on cycle 4, but there's such a small window for TTC, it's hard not to get a bit discouraged when AF shows up.
ETA: I've been charting the last 3 cycles. I guess the first cycle shouldn't count b/c we pulled the goalie and timed for a 14 day ovulation (we missed the real O by several days). Our timing the last few cycles has been so-so. I'm not in panic mode, just wanted to see other folks' experience. I'm fortunate that I have short cycles.

First time, 3 then m/c After the m/c, it took 7 cycles to get pg again.
With our second child, I was still nursing, so my cycles were out of whack. I don't actually know how many cycles it was, but I was off birth control for exactly a year before my BFP.
We tried half-heartedly for around a year using the whatever happens happens approach. When I got serious (serious for me was OPKs and paying attnetion to my body's signals)I got pregnant on our second cycle.
It took 11 months and two rounds of Clomid and a CBEFM to conceive our first son. Our second son was conceived when we were out of town and didn't have protection, but given how long it took to conceive the first we decided to go for it anyway. We were shocked but thrilled.
It took us 11 months the first time, the last two cycles were assisted with Femara. We lost that pregnancy. This pregnancy was then the second cycle of trying, again assisted with Femara.

one cycle with DD and two cycles with DS. But we were not one of those "let's stop avoiding" couples. We went after conception with reckless abandon and we used OPK after one cycle of not conceiving with DS. I might be slightly type A. hmmm
ETA: I should also add that we were very lucky both times. We might've upped our game but we are lucky that we were able to conceive without help.

I got pregnant the first time I ovulated.... But that took nine months and clomid the first time, and then ended in m/c. Then I did acupuncture and got pregnant again, three months/one real cycle after the m/c.

I got pregnant on our first TTC cycle. I had been charting for 5 cycles prior to TTC & we had good timing. If you are charting I highly recommend Fertility Friend, I really like it.
Three with our first, two with our second, and one with our third. The third is really more of a "let's throw caution to the wind just this once" baby than a "let's try to get pregnant now" baby. We have been very fortunate.

2 cycles, after being on birth control for 10 years. I wasn't charting and I thought it would take at least 5 or more cycles, so I was a little shocked and felt guilty it happened so fast. Several women in my family have fertility issues and it took one more than a decade, but the technology is so advanced now, I wouldn't stress about it yet.

DS1 was a surprise. DS2 took longer... got pg on 2nd cycle, had an early miscarriage (1 week after BFP). After that, 2 cycles passed before we got pg with DS2.

1st cycle off BCP. I was surprised that it happened so fast, I was expecting it to take a few months (at least!) as that's what I kept reading before we decided to start trying. We did each do a month long "fertility" cleanse my last month on BCP that is supposed to help promote proper body function in the appropriate areas.
I had been charting for about 5 months prior to starting and just using condoms. I only have one ovary, so I wanted to be mentally prepared if it turned it wasn't ovulating.
