I think it is sooooo much better. I like it. But yeah, I hate that light fixture near the fireplace. And those hideous dining room chairs they recently got. They keep making so many design mistakes in this house. Seems like they do better in the "safe" category and don't know how to do color at all.

People must know where they live, right? I wonder if people stalk the real estate listings to see when it is listed for sale. Do you think that kind of thing will be publicized while it is on the market? I can't imagine they will be able to keep it quiet.
I wish the old wall color photographed better. I have it in my guest bath and it looks really different than it does on their blog....and I have tried everything imaginable to get a decent photo of the color and haven't been able to. That isn't to say that it is a good reason to change the color. Or a reason to give up and not work harder on your camera skills. lol
Fwiw, I didn't like it with all of the white in their kitchen. We have dark cabinets in the bathroom and a silky striped shower curtain with that color in it, and it keeps it looking fresh but not juvenile.
The new color probably looks better with the penny tile in person...if you look up the color (BM Colorado gray), it seems like it would go better with the tile, but probably worse with the swimmer art. It doesn't look like the same color as their photos.
