Nurse called, H has low motility. His county was great but motility they wanted at least 60% and he was 35%. She said she is sending me more info on it all. So basically looking at IUI when I'm done with our "break". Which will be in May sometime.
So tell me about this. I'm f'n scared. Not only scared but on the verge of tears at work. I know the procedure but just nervous. Does it hurt? Etc. I did femara and had a perfect follicle last time so hoping I don't need to do injections.

Aww, linz, I'm sorry. It's great that his count is good- I think that will help with the IUI. You might want to ask this on the TTC board too, since some of the ladies there may have had IUI.
Aww, linz I'm sorry the news wasn't better for you guys. I'm going to page mofongo here. She posts on ML and I think she posted about something similar earlier this week. Maybe she'll have some helpful advice for you.

Did the doc say anything about a second SA? My H got two done, because like Mofongo said, sometimes things are funky for no real reason. (Like the lab let the sample sit just a little too long, or your H was sick 3 months ago and that affected the sample, since it takes about 3 months for sperm to mature.) The doctor may recommend vitamins too, if he isn't taking any, that may help with motility.
Sorry. I haven't done IUI yet, so not advice on that, but I agree w/ getting a second SA. So many things can affect sperm and because it takes 3 months to mature, it can be hard to pinpoint if there was something was going on that affected it. After H's second SA, they could clearly diagnose the issue and made recommendations for meds and vitamins to help boost his numbers.
