Ari has had yogurt for 5 days and there have been zero intolerance symptoms, yay!
Next up is soy or hidden dairy. I am having a hard time finding baby friendly foods with one or the other. We need to do one new food at a time so I am weary of giving him something with both ingredients.
Any good ideas on what I can use to challenge next? I'd prefer to do soy first but can do hidden dairy if need be. I was thinking bread but I haven't found one with only one of those ingredients.

What is hidden dairy, and why would that have a different reaction than, um, obvious dairy (like yogurt)?
The proteins in yogurt are supposedly the easiest for an intolerant baby to digest. Hidden dairy often refers to whey, casein, or even baked in milk. It is much less than eating straight cheese or drinking milk but it is still present.
My GI just wants us to go really slow with the trial because Ari's gerd and mspi symptoms were so serious.

Great news about the yogurt!
For soy you can try Vans frozen waffles. They are egg, gluten, and dairy free but do not contain dairy. H ate them frequently at this age but D can't have them. The Earths Best waffles are dairy free too but I can't recall about the soy in those.
If I think of more stuff throughout the day I will let you know.

Soy's very low on the list, but Bunny whole grain white (not sure about the other varieties, that's all we use) has soy but no dairy. Morningstar chicken grillers are much higher in soy obviously if you are wanting something more obvious and dairy free. A lot of veggie/vegan stuff is going to be dairy free but have soy. My dr. must be wacko- we were told to do baked in (like bread, etc.), cooked, yogurt, then whole milk. Woops. DS ended up fine anyway, well he's still intolerant to a point, but can handle a lot. Yogurt tends to be much harder on him though than baked in milk which is weird.
