I'm running in a 5K on Saturday. I'd really like a PR, since I haven't run a 5K since November, and I have been running a lot more since then. Since the race is in honor of St. Patrick's Day, I'd like to wear green. I have a green cotton tee from an old race. It would be okay to wear it over a long sleeve tech tee, right? I think it would be fine since it's only 5K. I'm prone to acne on my back and shoulders, so I'm always try to wear breathable fabrics and have never run in cotton. It's going to be about 50 degrees.

Personally, I would be hot in a long sleeve tech shirt and a t-shirt over. I would skip the tech shirt, but that's just me. A cotton tee should be fine for a 5K.

Thanks! It's been so long since I started a run at 50 degrees that I've almost forgotten what it feels like. It was 50+ degrees by the end of my long run (10 miles) on Saturday, but it was 27 degrees at the start, so I was all bundled up.
