Had my annual eye exam on Wednesday, and I'm thisclose to needing bifocals (hello 40s). The dr said we could stave it off another year if I went down a power in one eye. That will give me slightly worse distance vision, but slightly better near vision. I figured it was worth a shot.
As soon as I put the new lens in my eye, it was driving me crazy. She said it was normal, and I'd get used to it in time. I was ready to rip them out by dinnertime Wednesday, and I wore glasses yesterday.
Today I go to put my lenses in again, and I realize that my new lens was on inside out all day Wednesday! No wonder I hated it! Now it's in right and feels MUCH better.
Ha! I've put lenses in inside out before, it's super uncomfortable. I can't believe you wore it that way all day! You nut!
Speaking of eye issues, I've had a huge stye on my eyelid for 2+ months and after 2 appointments with my optometrist and trying two different eye drops he finally recommended that I go to Mass Eye & Ear to get it lanced off. I don't want anyone going near my eye with a knife!!
It will be nice to wear contact lenses and eye make up again, though. Also, for those going to the dinner Monday I swear I'm not contagious. Its completely sterile, just a clogged oil duct.
Riiiiight... remind me to sit at the other end of the table

Mass Eye & Ear is top notch. After researching a ton of LASIK places, I went with them and it was absolutely the best choice. It's scary, but they are GREAT doctors. Good luck!
