So our dishwasher just crapped out on us and for the cost it would be to fix it, we might as well buy a new one. It was only 4.5 years old, so I'm a bit annoyed. We had a Frigidaire Gallery 24". The rest of our appliances are Frigidaire. We should probably stick with that brand, right? If the brand doesn't matter and if you have a recommendation I'd love to hear it. We're hoping to keep it between $450-600.
Unless it's SS and you think the sheen would be really different, I'd get whatever you brand you want.
I have a Whirlpool QuietPower IV. I adore it. It's quiet. It washes well, holds a lot. It's 6 years old I do a load everyday, sometimes two and never had a problem. I know they still make them, the numbers behind it have just "upgraded" by now.It My Mom has a Samsung and thinks it's fabulous for the money as well.
I wouldn't worry about sticking with the same brand. I think it is more important to get the best appliance within your budget...no matter who the manufacturer is.
Unless it is right next to another appliance, the difference in finishes won't be noticeable.
My new kitchen has a Bosch. I love it. The contractor has actually emailed to get the model because all the guys working on the kitchen couldn't get over how awesome it was.
