Every family and every kid is different. We pick up between 5:30 and 6, but our kids don't go to bed before 9--usually closer to 9:30. The earliest they have ever gone to sleep on a regular basis was 8:30. We have actually tried to move bedtime up, but starting the bedtime routine earlier does not change anything--they just aren't tired before then. We eat dinner as a family between 6:30 and 7. They get up between 7:30 and 8. It works for us.

Every kid is different but for my DD who is now 7, bedtime has been 7:30 since she gave up naps. Right now my 2 year old is also in bed by 7:30. They are both up by 7:00 am. I think as long as your DD is still napping, you should be fine.

I'm getting ready to go back to work full time. DS is 2.5. He will be at daycare until 6:30. Right now he's up by 8, naps about an hour, and asleep by about 9:30. When I start work I will have to wake him up at 7. I'm hoping he will learn to nap at daycare, but I am pretty sure his bed time will stay the same.
dd has always had an 8p bedtime. she took two naps until 18 mos and slept until 7a and as just started sleeping until closer to 8 since dst last weekend. if a later bedtime works for your family I'm sure she'll adjust.
Our center closes at 6, so that's why I think of it as late.
The time your kid goes to bed or wakes up is not important as long as they are getting enough sleep and it fits your schedule.
I used to work with a guy whose kids stayed up until 11 or LATER every night. They ate dinner at 10. But they had a nanny and the kids slept until 9 or 10. It worked for them, though I'm sure it would make for a rougher transition to kindergarten, they got more time with their kids and were happy with it.
