Something weird happened on FB. I just received a notice that somebody who I do not know, have never heard of and with whom I have no connection (no mutual friends), accepted my friend request. I went through a month of my activity log looking to see if/when I sent the friend request, and I couldn't locate anything. The profile seems "off" to me. I did not take much time to investigate the profile before deleting him/her, blocking him/her and changing my password. I did get a screen shot of the profile before deleting and blocking.
Besides the above, is there anything that I can or should do? I have my FB setting locked down--only my friends can see pictures and My wall/timeline. I did just change my search ability from "Everyone" to "Friends of Friends" and friend requests can only come from "Friends of Friends".
Do you have it so only friends can send you messages and only friends of friends can request you? Are you unsearchable and all that?
Until this happened, I was searchable and anyone could send me a friend request. I have since changed that. Only friends and "friends of friends" can find me and only "friends of friends" can send a friend request. My photos and timeline have been "friends only" for nearly as long as that has been an option.
What freaks me out is that it appears as though she accepted a friend request that I initiated. I did not send her a friend request, to the best of my knowledge.

Is it possible that it's from even longer ago than the last few months? I've also had people throw me for a loop before by changing their name to something unrecognizable or garbled. Luckily in those cases I could still tell from their profile pictures, but if I hadn't been able to that would have made it even worse.
Do you let G play with your phone? (Assuming you have a phone with Facebook access.) O has done all kinds of crazy things on my phone. He facetimed a frenemy I hadn't removed from my contacts yet. It was awkward.
