Y'all, I have a serious running addiction. I finished my first half at approximately 10am this morning and since then, I have rehydrated, signed up for a metric marathon on April 14 and the 3 half United Triple Crown series. I had already signed up for the Diva half at the expo yesterday.
There are discount codes for the Baltimore 10 miler and the Frederick Running Festival that I am contemplating registering for.
With all of those, I will qualify for Half Fanatics after my May 12 race, BUT if I throw in the Ocean City Half at the end of April, I can get to a higher level ;-)
I have a friend who reached the highest level in Half Fanatics, so she's obviously encouraging my crazy. I need some more (maybe slightly more rational) feedback. What do you wise H&F ladies say?
FWIW, I won't have to pay for accommodations for any of these races. Just entry fees and gas to get there!

As long as you will all still be here for me when my partner leaves my crazy @$$! I'm definitely going to do the nut job - the girls in my other post talked me into that. Still contemplating adding the OC Half - it's my anniversary weekend, so I could kind of make a vacation out of it??

Well, I just went to register for Frederick and saw the info for Titanium girl, which is the same weekend as OC, a bit closer to home AND I get bonus stuff - consider it done!
ps- I tried to put all my races in my sig and it cut me off :-(

You need to find an August race to fill in that gap.

I did the Titanium Girl last year, and the Frederick Nut job, which is when you also run the 5K the night before the Frederick half. So I did the Columbia Half on Saturday, ran the Frederick 5k that next Friday (or maybe it was Saturday, I can't remember), then the Frederick half the next day. I was freaking tired, but I got 4 total medals for it, so it was cool

this is my plan also. Iron Girl is Sun April 28. I'm doing a local 10k on May 4 and then heading to Frederick for the nut job! The next weekend I am headed to RI to start the Triple Crown series :-)
And, yes, I train on plenty of hills! My average elevation change on a long run is about 500ft (according to my garmjn) and that's when I run the "flat" roads ;-)

I think it's fine to race that much, but I'd pick the target races where you plan to peak--and are looking for PR's...and then the rest are races where you are practicing other things, expecting other types of "successes" besides PR's.
You are racing a lot--and racing a lot of longer distance races. It might be hard to get PR's at every race you are signed up for.

In August baltimore has the Charles st 12 miler All downhill!

August is a brutal time of year to run around here! Downhill might be doable though. That's the big draw of the Great Allegany 15K in October (and much cooler temps). Not sure where you are in the area, but I did the Great Allegany last year and really liked it - it's on my "to do yearly" list

Yeah it is- the humidity is horrible. I didn't sign up for Charles st- too broke from race fees! A bunch of girls in my group are doing it though.
I wanted to do titanium girl challenge thing but not in the cards for this year- ill be at Frederick though!
I am kind of between dc/moco and Baltimore. I am looking at the MCM full for October ( as long as I get in next week!!). Is a full on your list for this year?

No full for me this year. I'm aiming to do next year's Wineglass as my first. I'm definitely doing Shamrock again and am toying with the idea of doing the full next year - I think I'd be ready, but I really liked dressing up and just doing the half, so I'm thinking about it.
Maybe we can plan a meet up before Frederick! I registered for that and Iron Girl yesterday
