Consequences and Truth by Aleatha Romig. They were kind of a mind eff - usually not my style - but I could not put them down. There is a 3rd book in the series come out later this year.

Alright, here me out on this one: Harry Kemelman mysteries. The main character is a Rabbi, David Small, and I LOVE these books. It's weird, but read them.
