Friday - went out for happy hour with co-workers which was fun
Saturday - ran errands and lounged most of the day.
Sunday - Went to Zumba in the morning then went out to a local irish bar in the afternoon for a few beers and my first Irish car bomb. I'm def. feeling it today, uggh. Then we came home and had corned beef and cabbage for dinner.
Looking forward to tonight's GTG as well, I was checking out the menu again and it looks awesome!!

I had a nice weekend. My parents and I walked around Portsmouth on Friday and went maple sugaring on Saturday. I dropped them off at the airport early Sunday morning and spent the rest of the day studying.
Have fun at the GTG! I wish I could be there with all of you.
I don't even remember Friday. It must not have been very memorable.
Saturday I went to sit n knit, made a lot of progress on my sock, and took advantage of the store's moving sale to get some yak yarn!
Sunday was a whirlwind. We took DD to a St Patrick's Day event that was VERY crowded, but she did great and had a wonderful time. We celebrated later at home by eating Chinese delivery for dinner, LOL

That sounds so fun! Where did you go maple sugaring and what did it entail? I want to go with J next weekend.

Friday I decided I needed a margarita so we went to Border with some friends. Saturday we had them and H's sister's family over for dinner. Sunday those same friends again, had us over for guiness beef stew. And then Bistro 5 tonight! Food filled weekend, just the way I like it
Huh. I thought I typed a response, but my computer ate it! Boo.
I spent a lot of the weekend telling anyone who would listen that I finally got a job, lol. I called my BFF on Friday and left a voicemail. I didn't hear from her all weekend, which annoyed me, until she sent me an email this morning apologizing. She said she's been diagnosed with chronic lyme disease and has been all out or sorts in the last week or so. I felt bad for being annoyed.
Saturday I tagged along with my parents to a travel show. I just wanted to pick up a brochure from Sandals to oogle over, but ended up talking to the girl at the booth for 15 minutes. Now that I'm going to have a job with a liveable wage I want to get SO serious about a real vacation in the next year.
Saturday night I went out with my mother and godmother to the symphony. My mom was talking in the car about how she hoped they'd play things like the theme from Titanic, since she read that the program was "Romantic" music. I had to explain to her that Romantic referred to a time period and style, not love songs LOL.
Sunday I kind of vegged until it was time to cook the corned beef, potatoes, and carrots. My godmother came over for dinner and talked about her daughter's wedding, which will be a guaranteed etiquette shit show. I can't wait.
I'm not sure what to do with myself today. Usually I spend most of the day stressing over job postings, writing cover letters, and feeling sorry for myself. Today I'm trying to decide what to do with myself for the next three weeks before my training starts. <)

I was a little disappointed because we only tapped one tree so there was not an opportunity for everyone to get hands-on experience. Otherwise, the farm was picturesque, the staff was knowledgeable and pleasant, and the tour was informative and fun.
We did our St. Patrick's carousing on saturday night. Had a handful of friends over for dinner and partied all night. Sunday I did some more painting once I finally got motivated after a lunch of breakfast foods. Tonight I'm going rock climbing at an indoor gym. I'm excited and nervous. Hopefully we'll get enough snow that I won't have to work tomorrow and I'll be able to nurse any sore muscles.
Mine was pretty low key. I had drinks with a coworker Friday at Publick House, then Saturday we went to CT to see my inlaws and check on our rental home there. We celebrated a belated bday with them and my inlaws have me some fabulous bday gifts:)
Yesterday we came home early, I did some shopping, and went for a nice run before we went to dinner at Waxy O'Connors to celebrate St Pattys day.
RockNVoll I'm climbing at Ascent in Dover. Tonight is ladies night and its on my friend's "30 before 30" list, so I'm going to be supportive. I haven't climbed in YEARS! Literally, 14 years. I cut my nails off and everything, lol. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Haha, well I hope you enjoy it! Hopefully you'll get through the certification bit quickly so you can climb on! Remember, use your legs and not your arms as much as possible.
Yeah, I remember most of the commands to climb, but I've never belayed anyone/myself. I'm sure this will be different than what I remember. I probably won't have to tie my own harness either right? Are we going to look like dorks in our yoga pants?

Friday: I went out for drinks with my coworkers & DH at the Lansdowne Pub. Had some burgers & beers. Then we picked up the kiddo from MIL's & had more beers with a friend at our place.
Saturday: Ran errands & spent too much $... kiddo was a monster all day.
Yesterday: I made boiled dinner, went grocery shopping, cleaned, vaccuumed & did what seemed like a million loads of laundry. It was a good day, though, & our friend from downstairs came up to visit with cookies.
who22, where are you climbing? I miss it, it's been a long time, but the gyms are too far from me and I don't really have climbing buddies here.
preppy, well don't leave us hanging. What presents did your ILs give you?
They got me a pair of Tory burch espadrilles, gift cards to lululemon and a running store in Lexington (both of which I already spent yesterday), and a vineyard vines gift card. My inlaws are extremely generous gift givers:)

I am in Seattle. On Sunday we went to Cochon 555. It was amazing. The Boaton one is this Sunday the 24th. If you have ever had an interest in a foodie event, go to this. It was worth the $$$. Tons of food and lots of drinks, too.
