My ride yesterday was more than an hour longer than my previous longest ride (which I just did last week, BTW.) Kind of silly on my part, but I wasn't pushing the pace, so today, I feel fine.
Except for my lower back, which I always have problems with due to a birth defect. My lower back is always my problem area.
Today though, it's really really sore, like hurts to stand up. I have a smidge of tightness in my shoulders and neck, which I fully expected after just spending so my time on my bike with no build up.
But is it normal to have this soreness in my lower back? Would that point to a fit issue or just a getting used to spending three + hours on the bike issue?
FWIW, my legs today feel 100% normal and my arms are fine too.

I would guess it is just from spending so much time on the bike. My lower back and neck hurt after rides when I got my tri bike. As I have spent more time on the bike, the pain is gone or just some slight soreness.
I wouldn't suspect a fit issue based on it happening once after an early season ride. If you keep riding and it keeps being a problem, then I'd get re-fit.
I say give it a few more long rides of 3+ hours. You have to get used to being on the bike for that long. If in a few rides it does not get better, you might want to get refit.
