I can not get motivated! I was 187, got down to 160. Moved and fell off and now I'm 167 within 5 months I'm getting depressed, my jeans are getting snug. I know to start working out and eat right but I'm so unmotivated with other things going on and all I'm doing is making excuses and excuses! Whhhhhy.

Can you try something new? Start C25K? Zumba? Not being an enabler or anything, but seven pounds in five months isn't awful, and I'm sure if you start exercising again and eating healthier (blah blah blah) you can lose that 5 lbs in a month or so! I'm a total wallower too... when I get unhappy or anxious, the first thing to go is my eating habits and working out. It's hard to pull yourself back but better than keeping on falling down the pit and getting heavier and more depressed, ya know? Go start exercising again, and after the first week, go buy yourself some new work out gear to motivate you even more.
I agree about maybe finding something new and exciting to do exercise wise. I had no motivation to workout and put on a few pounds, but then I decided to try CrossFit and fell in love. It was the spark I needed to get back into healthy eating and working out.
It's not so much the 7 pounds but it is. It's clearly the 'hey you haven't been working out and it shows' and my goal weight is somewhere in the 140's. where ever I feel good at. So I got to get motivated and just go again. My gym offers lot of classes. I need to stop being a lazy ass lol before I get legit depressed.
Pick a start date in the near future (how about Saturday? Or Monday?), plan what you will do, and arrange your life so that you can do that day. Buy the foods you need, plan your eating and exercise and just do it. I think sometimes the first day or two is the hardest and if you can just get through the beginning, it's easier to stay on track and stay motivated.
