I'm going to answer even though I'm a C25k dropout, lol. I quit following the plan and started doing my own thing. Tonight I did 5 min warmup, 31 min run, and 6 min cool down. My 2nd 5k is 6/16 and I"m hoping to be able to do it without walk breaks.
Im well beyond a graduate & was up to about 5 miles till my marathon relay in early May, but after that I just fizzled out! I think I just lost the drive...& got lazy I guess. My last run 2 weeks ago was barely 3 miles, & I was dying...of course I was running w/my IL's dog, who doesn't know how to walk 'proper' let alone run, so it was kind of a disaster...
Anyway, tonight was my 1st night back on a serious run since then. I went w/a friend who is on week 4 of C25k, so I just did what she did. I didn't want to jump into things too fast b/c of the break I took, plus I've been having issues w/nausea & burning in my stomach for the last week....But it felt, good! I can't believe Im saying that! I surprised myself!
Im signed up for a 5k on the 16th, so Im going to gradually work back up to a straight 30min run over the next week...Oh shit, I just realized I start bootcamp Tues! EEEK!!!
Long time lurker from the nest here. I am on Week 3 Day 1. I have to be honest, it's been a challenge so far. I am working on dropping about 35 pounds leftover from 2 pregnancies and about 3 years of limited physical activity.
