I had to run tonight because of my schedule but the weather was crappy (mid 30s and misty rain). I actually had a really strong run! I got in 4.5 miles at one of my fastest paces and still felt strong at the end with a lot of gas left in the tank so to speak.
My dog however seemed a bit more dubious of the weather lol
Let me get this right? It is cold, it is raining, and you dragged me out of my warm bed for a run?! And they say border collies are crazy!

It was cold at the start but I warmed up pretty quick. At the beginning I was trying to dodge the puddles but by about mile 2 I was all like "splash!" lol.
Poe is a good little trooper. She held a great pace with me and only played tug a few times. When she gets bored or too ramped up she'll whip around and play tug with her leash while I stand there like a fool. She growls, pounces, flips out. But she only really does it when we repeat a section so I'm guessing it is boredom. I just pause my app and let her wig out for a few and then carry on. As you can imagine, we get a lot of stares when we head out. lol. Not to mention that my running jacket is a similar color orange as her coat so it looks like we are trying to match lol.

Poe does not look pleased! That said, some of my best runs are in the rain, provided I remember to BodyGlide. Otherwise, that should read: some of my most uncomfortable post-runs are after runs in the rain.
