H and I are finally getting everything together to finish our kitchen (it's half present-day, half 1954 ). Here is a doctored screenshot of the Ikea plan for the sink side of the kitchen:
We need a mini-pendant (or flush/semi-flush mount) for above the sink and two flush-mounts for other parts of the kitchen. I'm more concerned with finding a mini-pendant because finding flush-mounts should be simple enough since there are lots of simple/plain options. Here are some factors that may impact your recommendations:
IRL, there is no crown or trim work
8 ft ceiling
walls are a light lavender
ceiling is light cream, not yellow (as shown)
base cabinets throughout are black-brown (slab), the fridge cabinet and tall cabinet are as well
wall cabinets on opposite wall are white (slab) and frosted glass (aluminum framed)
countertops are birch butcher block
shelves next window are SS
fridge enclosure on sink side is white, SS on other side
Based on this info, do you have any suggestions or ideas? Have you seen something recently that you think would be perfect? Budget is $200 max for the mini-pendant, but that's somewhat flexible. Like I previously said, a flush or semi-flush can also work. TIA!
