We only went to the hospital with one boy name and one girl name, but I can give you lists of my favorites:
Boys: Theodore, Callum, Desmond, Malcolm, Simon, Duncan, Sawyer, Cole, Grayson, Archer, Griffin, Owen, Porter, Harrison. Callum was a serious contender for this guy. The others were either vetoed by DH or couldn't be used because of our last name.
Girls: Amelia, Eleanor/Norah, Penelope, Grainne, Cordelia, Josephine, Hazel, Harriet, Cecilia, Henrietta, Charlotte. DH hated almost all of these. If the little guy had been a little girl he would have been Eleanor/Norah.
Do you know what is ridiculous? We had three of each and I can only remember Grayson Luke (Luke was possibly a first name but is one of his middle names) and Beatrix plus my middle name.

We only went to the hospital with Lilah Rose (we knew it was a girl).
For the next it will be Maurice (Reece) Tal (Maurice for my late grandfather) or Mila, Maura, or Mina for a girl and a T middle name but we haven't come up with it.
We were that weird couple that had names picked out the first go, so we always knew Mackenzie would be the girl name. Our boy name was Nolan.
For Addison, the other names we considered were Jacqueline and Caroline. DH vetoed Emma, Hadley, Kendall. If she had been a boy she would have been Ryan.

We were team green and Winter Rose was our girl name that we had picked. I almost changed it last minute to Lilah Violet because my older son's father's name is VERY close to Winter and I didn't realize it until I was 8 months pregnant. I like uncommon names and I had some ones on my list. Boys- Titus Alexander, Talon James, Arbor Robert Girls- Layla Sienna, Lilah Violet, Winter Rose, Paisley Analeigh(I really hate this one now) My new girl name that I love is Daphne Vivian. I don't think I will ever have a girl though. Yes, I know I have questionable taste.
Meaty, Arbor? seriously? I might have to come to Iowa and smack you...
I was on a nature inspired name kick. I would still name my child Arbor Robert over Aydyn Mykeal any day. You know if I had a gun to my head, cuz that shit happens all the time. Arbor is pretty freaking bad though. What was I going to call him for short? Arb. Gross. I love Callum! I just read a book with a Callum. edit- I really messed that up. NO Aydyn Mykeal!!

We both loved Beatrix, but we vetoed all B names, because we have a B last name. (obviously we enjoy lit names)

We are name kindreds! If/when I get pregnant again, I'll be running names by you. And not meatytheisens.
Girls: Matilda, Sophie, Josephine, Ramona. H vetoed Eloise, I vetoed Olive (because a friend has a daughter named Olive), and we both loved but vetoed Eleanor because it doesn't go with H's last name very well.
Boys: We didn't get far into discussing boy names since we knew we were having a girl. Top contenders were Arlo and Augustin. We also talked about Charles, Emil, and Thaddeus.

We have the same (amazing) taste in girl names.
We didn't have a girl's name picked out. I loved Olive (and it will be on the top of my list if we have another girl), but it just didn't fit her. We decided on Sophie on the day we left the hospital.
For a boy we had settled on Ian Henry. We both love the name Gus, but I don't know if we would actually use it.
We were originally going to name J Kirsten Michaela, but ended up with Josephine Wynnefred (long story)
If we have another our name lists are:
Girls: Mary, Margaret, Penelope, Sylvia, Sophia, and I still like Kirsten Michaela if only because Kirsten and Michael ran the bar in the Gasthaus where DH and I finally sealed the deal due to the massive amount of shots they fed us one night.
